‘Kara’ Telugu Trailer Builds Strong Buzz Ahead of Release
The Telugu trailer of Kara, starring Dhanush and directed by Vignesh Raja, has been released, creating solid excitement before the film’s theatrical launch on April 30, 2026.
Presented in Telugu by CH Sathish Kumar and Rajesh Kumar Bobbara under Vigneswara Entertainments R Star Logistics, and produced by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International, Kara is being released as a major multi-language film across Tamil, Telugu, and overseas markets.
The trailer focuses more on emotions and realism rather than typical hero elevations. It showcases the story of an ordinary man caught in difficult situations, with Dhanush delivering a subtle and intense performance.
Set during the time of the Gulf War and India’s fuel crisis, the film brings a realistic backdrop that adds depth to the story. Director Vignesh Raja, known for Por Thozhil, continues his style of making grounded and gripping narratives.
Mamitha Baiju plays the female lead, while experienced actors like K. S. Ravikumar, Jayaram, Karunas, and M. S. Bhaskar add strength to the cast.
On the technical side, cinematography is handled by Theni Eswar, editing by Sreejith Sarang, and music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, who uses a minimal background score to enhance the film’s mood.
The film has already gained good attention. The Telugu song Kannamma Naa Kannamma crossed 4.1 million views, and the teaser reached 2.6 million views within three days. At the pre-release event, Dhanush described the film as a story of “an ordinary man in extraordinary situations” and said it is very special to the team.
With strong content, performances, and growing buzz, Kara is set for a promising release in Telugu theatres on April 30, 2026.
