Chennai Love Story OTT Premiere
The popular romantic drama Chennai Love Story is all set for its OTT release on Sony LIV from August 21.
The film, which earned over ₹60 crore at the box office, received good response for its simple love story, emotional moments, music and performances. It will now be available across India in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
Directed by Ravi Namburii, the film has a screenplay by Ravi Namburii and Sai Rajesh Neelam. Sai Rajesh has penned the story, while SKN and Sai Rajesh Neelam have produced the film under Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers. Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya play the lead roles.
Set in Chennai, the movie follows two youngsters as they experience the happiness, excitement and pain of first love. The story also explores growing up, relationships and finding oneself along the way.
Kiran Abbavaram said the film is special to him as it captures the emotions and innocence of first love. He thanked audiences for their support and expressed happiness that the film will now reach viewers across different languages through Sony LIV.
Sri Gouri Priya also shared that the film brings back memories of first love, a phase that remains special in everyone’s life. She thanked audiences for the theatrical response and hoped the OTT release would help the film connect with a new set of viewers.
Chennai Love Story premieres on Sony LIV from August 21 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
