Gordhansingh Impresses as the Antagonist in “Maa Oori Baavi”
Gordhansingh, who has been actively working in both Hindi and Telugu cinema, is steadily building a strong presence with his versatile performances. He made his film debut in 2022 with Ram Gopal Varma’s Dangerous, where he portrayed the character “Cookie,” marking his entry into the film industry.
He will next be seen in the upcoming Telugu horror-drama Maa Oori Baavi (2026), where he plays the main antagonist. The film is produced by Pramod Kulkarni and directed by Shashank. The film’s poster was unveiled by NFDC at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) held in Goa in November 2025.
In addition, Gordhansingh is also part of the upcoming Hindi film Dulhaniyan Le Aayenge (2026), alongside Mahesh Manjrekar, Piyush Mishra, and Omkar Kapoor.
Currently, he is working on a Telugu thriller that is in the pre-production stage, with shooting set to begin soon. With a deep passion for acting, he received formal training at the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi.
On December 11, 2025, he appeared as a guest on Doordarshan’s DD Morning Show, where he shared insights about his life journey and spoke about his upcoming film Maa Oori Baavi.
His journey to cinema is truly inspiring. At the age of 14, he moved from Punjab to Mumbai with just ₹300 and two recommendation letters. Before entering the film industry, he spent nearly 15 years working in the hospitality sector across Mumbai, Goa, and offshore coastal regions, reflecting his perseverance and determination to pursue a career in acting.
