Actor Varun Tej has undergone knee surgery after getting injured while training for his upcoming film Bhari. The makers officially confirmed the news, assuring fans that he is doing well and recovering steadily.

Producer Niharika Konidela shared that Varun Tej sustained the injury during volleyball practice, which is an important part of his role in the film. He was immediately treated and later underwent a successful surgery. Doctors have confirmed that his condition is stable, and he is currently under proper medical care.

Bhari is a rural sports drama centered around volleyball and has already created good buzz. The film was launched with a traditional pooja ceremony, with Pawan Kalyan giving the first clap. It is directed by Yadhu Vamsee and produced under Pink Elephant Pictures.

Known for choosing challenging roles, Varun Tej had been training intensely to fit the character, making the injury an unfortunate setback. However, the team remains confident that he will recover soon and return to the shoot.
