Romanchakam Promises a Fun-Filled Theatrical Experience

Presented by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga under Bhadrakali Pictures, Romanchakam stars Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar in the lead roles. Directed by debutant Venugopal Reddy, the film blends love, comedy and suspense into a youthful entertainer.
The film is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on September 3. Suniel Narang of Asian Cinemas is releasing it across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
A press meet was held in Hyderabad, where the team shared their experiences and spoke confidently about the film.
Producer and distributor Suniel Narang expressed confidence in the movie and said he believes Romanchakam will emerge as a successful film.
Several members of the technical and supporting cast highlighted the positive experience of working with the young team. Actress Keerthana, production designer Khushi, cinematographer Pawan Puppala and actors Narendra, Mani and Sohan said the film was made with passion and teamwork. They also expressed confidence that audiences would enjoy the movie with both friends and family.
Director Venugopal Reddy revealed that he narrated the complete story to Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Pranay Reddy Vanga for nearly two hours. They immediately liked the concept and decided to make the film. He said Sandeep Vanga gave him complete creative freedom and never interfered with his vision.
Venugopal also praised the performances of Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar, along with the cinematography by Pawan Puppala and music by Vasuki Vaibhav. He described Romanchakam as a film that audiences should experience in theatres.
Heroine Ananthika Sanilkumar said she connected strongly with Venugopal's script after listening to several stories following 8 Vasantalu. She described Romanchakam as a film that matches the kind of variety she wants to explore as an actress. She also praised the comfortable working atmosphere created by the team.
Producer Pranay Reddy Vanga revealed that Venugopal narrated the story around 15 months ago. He impressed the team by performing all the characters while narrating the script. According to Pranay, the director conducted rehearsals for nearly three months, helping the actors deliver fresh performances.
Pranay added that although the film was made within a planned budget, audiences would never feel that it is a small-scale production. He described Romanchakam as an entertaining buddy comedy and urged audiences to watch it with their friends and families.
Hero Sumanth Prabhas said getting an opportunity to work under the Bhadrakali Pictures banner was a dream come true. He revealed that Venugopal made him rehearse for nearly six months and said the director successfully brought the script to life on screen.
Sumanth also praised Ananthika's performance and said every character in the movie would leave an impression. He added that even the title Romanchakam has a fresh and interesting feel.
With its combination of love, humour and suspense, the team is confident that Romanchakam will offer audiences an enjoyable theatrical experience when it arrives on September 3.
