The audio rights of Chennai Love Story have been sold for a record-breaking price, with T-Series South Music acquiring them at a premium marking an exceptional deal for a film in this range.
Starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya, the film comes from the team behind cult favorites like Colour Photo and Baby. Directed by Ravi Namburi and presented by Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers, the project is backed by SKN and Sai Rajesh, who also provides the story. The film has already generated solid buzz through its early glimpses, and this high-value audio deal has only amplified expectations.
Music for the film is composed by Mani Sharma, known for his melodic strength, and the songs are expected to strike a chord with audiences. The impressive price fetched for the audio rights reflects strong confidence in the film’s music and overall appeal.
The combination of Kiran Abbavaram and Sai Rajesh has caught the attention of the trade, especially considering the success of Baby, which not only became a cult blockbuster but also won two National Awards, while Colour Photo earned a National Award as well. Adding to the momentum, Kiran Abbavaram’s recent film K-Ramp performed well commercially, further raising anticipation for this project.
Currently in the final stages of shooting, Chennai Love Story is gearing up to release its first single this week, promising music lovers a set of chart-topping tracks very soon.
