Mohit Suri and Mithoon share a special bond that goes back nearly two decades, starting with their first collaborations on Zeher and Kalyug in 2005. Over the years, they’ve crafted hit albums for films like Murder 2, Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Half Girlfriend, Malang, and now Saiyaara.
Arijit Singh, considered one of India’s greatest voices, has worked with Mohit Suri on many soulful tracks – from “Chahun Main Ya Naa” and “Humdard” to “Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga” and “Chal Ghar Chalen”. Their latest song, “Dhun”, continues their streak of heart-touching melodies.
Saiyaara marks an exciting first-time collaboration between YRF and Mohit Suri, both known for redefining love stories on screen. The film has already created a buzz for its intense romance and the sizzling chemistry between its fresh leads.
The film introduces Ahaan Panday as the newest YRF hero and features Aneet Padda, who won hearts in Big Girls Don’t Cry, as the female lead.
The music of Saiyaara has been a huge success, with earlier songs like Jubin Nautiyal’s “Barbaad,” Vishal Mishra’s “Tum Ho Toh,” and Sachet-Parampara’s “Humsafar” topping the charts. With “Dhun” now out, the album continues to win listeners across the country.
Yash Raj Films, known for timeless romantic classics under Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra, celebrates its 50th year with Saiyaara. Meanwhile, Mohit Suri, celebrating 20 years as a filmmaker, continues his legacy of delivering iconic love stories.
Produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara will release in cinemas worldwide on July 18, 2025.
