Telangana’s Rakesh Arne Crowned Mr. India 2025, Sets Sights on Global Stage
Hyderabad: Telangana's Rakesh Arne has made the state proud by winning the Mr. India 2025 title. The grand finale took place on June 19 at Golden Crown Resorts in Goa. Rakesh, who hails from Dharpally village in Nawapet mandal of Mahbubnagar district, shared his joy and journey during a recent press meet at Bashirbagh Press Club in Hyderabad.
Rakesh credited his win to dedication and support from his family and well-wishers. “Winning Mr. India is not just a titleit's years of effort, discipline, and self-belief,” he said. His focus areas included fitness, public speaking, and social awareness. Rakesh’s project titled “Self-Confidence” stood out among the contestants and earned praise from the judges. Now, he is preparing to represent India at the Mr. World Global 2025 competition in Indonesia.
Born on August 25, 1995, Rakesh comes from a humble farming background. His father, Yadaiyah, is a social worker, and his grandfather, Venkataiah, was a freedom fighter. After completing his B.Com in Computer Applications from Government City College, Hyderabad, Rakesh devoted himself to community service while also exploring modeling and fitness.
Rakesh runs the Raksha Global Foundation, which has made a meaningful impact over the years:
Donated blood 34 times
Rescued 47 child laborers
Provided shelter to 77 elderly people
Helped orphans, the visually impaired, and the differently-abled
He has also conducted free medical camps and health awareness programs. Rakesh previously represented India at the Model United Nations Conference in Malaysia and is passionate about the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Rakesh now has his sights set on the film industry. With experience as a model, life coach, and fitness trainer, he’s keen on entering acting and is even open to reality shows like Bigg Boss. He’s also working on launching fitness and mental wellness camps for youth across the country.
In 2025, he plans to deliver talks at Josh Talks Telugu and TEDx Telugu, and he’s also starting a motivational YouTube series called “Mr. India Talks.”
Popularly known as ‘Rakhi’ among his followers, Rakesh is admired for his humility and positive attitude. “Success is my strength, and a smile is my weapon,” he says. “Hard work can make anything possible.”
As he looks ahead to representing India globally, Rakesh remains committed to his mission of inspiring and empowering youth.
