Raja Kumari Turns Music Director With IMPURE; ‘OMG’ Brings Wedding Sangeet Vibes

American-Indian artist Raja Kumari is stepping into a new role as a music director with IMPURE. She has composed the film’s music along with Karan Pandav and has also lent her voice and rap to ‘OMG’, a lively Sangeet number perfect for the upcoming wedding season.

Known for her work in Jawan and They Call Him OG, Raja Kumari also makes a special appearance in IMPURE.

Directed by Nishanthi Evani, the English-language film features a desi cast and crew, with Yashna, Varahi and Sai Krishna in the lead roles. The story is written by Varahi Mallipamula, who is also producing the film with her mother, Sridevi Mallipamula.

IMPURE explores the idea of purity and questions traditional beliefs and social expectations. The film combines these themes with comedy while looking at relationships, dreams and personal choices.

Director Nandhini Reddy launched the trailer at the film’s pre-release event and wished the mother-daughter production team success.

The ‘OMG’ song, featuring Telugu lyrics by Kadali Sathyanarayana, takes a fun and confident look at the common “women are too much” comment. Varahi has also performed the song with American dancers at Times Square.

With its energetic music and wedding-ready vibe, ‘OMG’ is already adding a festive touch to IMPURE.

IMPURE is scheduled to release in theatres on October 2.
