“Memu COPulam” Grand Preview Event Held Ahead of ZEE5 Release
ZEE5 Telugu’s upcoming original series “Memu COPulam” is all set to premiere on May 22. Produced by BVS Ravi under the Raw Entertainments banner and directed by “Vikatakavi” fame Pradeep Maddali, the series features Naga Babu Konidela in a key role alongside Getup Srinu and Ravi Teja Nannimala.
Ahead of the release, the makers hosted a grand preview event attended by several film personalities including S. Thaman, Bandla Ganesh, Ajay Bhupathi, and Kona Venkat.
Highlights from the Event
S. Thaman said he was happy to be associated with the series and wished the team great success. He appreciated the music and lyrical contributions made for the project and expressed confidence that the series would entertain audiences.
Ajay Bhupathi mentioned that the title initially sounded controversial, but after watching the trailer, he found the series highly entertaining. He praised the team for completing the project in just 17 days with impressive quality and hoped it would become a major hit.
Bandla Ganesh appreciated director Pradeep Maddali and congratulated the entire team. He said he was surprised to learn that the series was completed in only 17 days and wished the project huge success.
Kona Venkat described the series as refreshing and entertaining. He praised BVS Ravi’s understanding of filmmaking and marketing and hoped everyone associated with the project would gain recognition and success.
Producer Kaumudi thanked the entire cast and crew for supporting the project and said the team was confident that audiences would enjoy the series.
Producer BVS Ravi revealed that the story revolves around two police officers searching for a missing rooster, promising a fun-filled rural entertainer packed with humor and emotions. He credited the entire team for completing the shoot within 17 days.
ZEE5 Business Head Anuradha stated that the platform continues to focus on family-friendly entertainment and described “Memu COPulam” as a wholesome entertainer set against a rural backdrop with Sankranti vibes and village culture.
Director Pradeep Maddali thanked the entire team for their support and said the project was completed smoothly because of everyone’s dedication and teamwork.
Actors and technicians including Kiriti Damaraju, Ritu Chowdary, Ravi Teja, Getup Srinu, RR Dhruvan, cinematographer Kishore, editor Michael, creative producer Gopal Krishna Vidhmahe, writer Chanakya Varma, and story writer Shoban also shared their excitement and thanked the team for the opportunity.
The team expressed confidence that “Memu COPulam” will entertain audiences when it starts streaming on ZEE5 from May 22.
