The makers of the upcoming Telugu film ‘Sarkaru Baayi’ have unveiled a special birthday poster celebrating the birthday of its leading lady Varshika. The actress plays a key role in the film, which stars Sriram Nimmala as the male lead.

Presented by Deccan Films and produced by Tummala Prafull Ram Reddy, the film is written and directed by Lara. Set against the backdrop of the Telangana region during the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh, the story draws inspiration from real incidents and explores several social issues that shaped the lives of people during that period.

The narrative touches upon subjects including water scarcity, caste-based discrimination, and the struggles faced by marginalized communities, with the filmmaker aiming to present the social atmosphere of that era in a realistic manner. The film’s first-look poster had already generated considerable interest among audiences.

In ‘Sarkaru Baayi’, Varshika portrays Kalpana, a teacher. The newly released birthday poster showcases the actress in an elegant traditional saree look, offering a glimpse of her character and appearance in the film. The makers are confident that Varshika’s performance will earn her appreciation from audiences.

The film’s shooting is currently nearing completion. A major shooting schedule was recently wrapped up in Reddypalli near Chegunta and its surrounding areas. Several important portions featuring Sriram Nimmala, Varshika, Baahubali Prabhakar and Naga Mahesh were filmed during the schedule.

Meanwhile, the post-production activities, including editing, are progressing simultaneously. The team is working towards completing the remaining production formalities and bringing ‘Sarkaru Baayi’ to theatres soon.

With a socially relevant storyline, a talented ensemble cast and a setting rooted in Telangana, ‘Sarkaru Baayi’ is being mounted with strong production values under the banner of Deccan Films.
