The makers of Daayra have unveiled a new poster featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, offering a glimpse into the intense world of the upcoming crime thriller. The trailer is set to release on 31st August 2026, adding to the excitement around the film.

In the poster, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran stand back-to-back, surrounded by police tape, while a mysterious face appears in the background. The intriguing visual raises questions about their characters, their connection, and the events at the heart of the story.

Daayra marks the first collaboration between Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios. It also brings director Meghna Gulzar back to Junglee Pictures after Talvar and Raazi. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Inspired by true events, the film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Meghna Gulzar and written by Yash Keswani, Sima Agarwal and Meghna Gulzar.

Produced by Junglee Pictures and Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios) and distributed by Pen Marudhar, Daayra will release in cinemas on 18th September 2026.
