'Court' Actress Sridevi Completes Shooting for Multilingual Film 'Haiku'; Post-Production Begins

After impressing Telugu audiences with her performance in Court, Sridevi has wrapped up shooting for her upcoming multilingual film Haiku. Starring Aegan in the lead and Minnal Murali actress Femina George in a key role, the film is produced by Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu under the Vision Cinema House banner. Directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, the film has now entered post-production after completing around 90 days of filming across four schedules.

Expressing his happiness over the shoot completion, director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy thanked the producers for placing complete faith in his vision and giving him the freedom to make the film without creative compromises. He described Haiku as a heartwarming and feel-good theatrical experience, adding that working with the cast and crew was a memorable journey. He also said he hopes Vision Cinema House continues to encourage and support emerging filmmakers.

Producers Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu said they are delighted to have successfully completed the shoot. They appreciated the director's dedication, planning, and commitment, expressing confidence that audiences will connect with the film's emotional story when it arrives in theatres after post-production.

The film also features Adrichi Arun, Mime Gopi, Indhumathi (Sathyam Sundaram), Jenson (Lubber Pandhu), Ismatha Banu (Sirai), Doctor Shiva, and several other actors in important roles.

The technical crew includes Hari Haran Ram (Additional Screenplay), Priyesh Guruswamy (Cinematography), Sakthi Pranesh (Editing), Siddhu Kumar (Music), and Prem (Art Direction).

In a major boost for the project, Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical digital streaming rights even before the completion of production. With filming now finished, the team is concentrating on post-production, and the makers are expected to reveal more updates in the coming months.
