Starring Santosh Shoban and Manasa Varanasi in the lead roles, Couple Friendly has recently hit theatres and is enjoying a strong positive response. Backed by impressive support from both youth and family audiences, the film is emerging as a successful romantic entertainer. On its opening day, the movie collected ₹1.89 crore gross worldwide. Presented by UV Creations and produced under the UV Concepts banner in Telugu and Tamil, the film is co-produced by Ajay Kumar Raju P. and directed by Ashwin Chandrasekhar. The film was released in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by passionate producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni. A grand success meet was held in Hyderabad to celebrate the film’s reception.
Distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni shared that he had confidently stated before release that Couple Friendly would become a memorable love story, and he is happy that audiences have made it come true with their overwhelming support. He credited director Ashwin for his honest storytelling and praised producers UV Vamsi and Vikky for backing the film with great passion and attention to detail. He also mentioned that Santosh Shoban is a promising actor who can become a preferred choice for love stories. Dheeraj revealed plans to collaborate again with Santosh, Manasa, and UV Concepts on another love story targeted for a Valentine’s Day release next year, along with special audience engagement contests and promotional tours.
Producer Ajay Kumar Raju P. said they were instantly convinced after hearing the story and chose to produce the film with sincerity and authenticity. He appreciated the dedication of Santosh and Manasa, who stayed fully committed to the project without distractions. Though the film was completed six months ago, the team deliberately waited to release it during the Valentine’s season. He expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the film’s success.
Director Ashwin Chandrasekhar thanked the media for their constant support in helping the film reach a wider audience. He said the team personally visited theatres to witness audience reactions and was thrilled by the enthusiastic response. He hoped the same love and encouragement would continue in the coming days.
Heroine Manasa Varanasi expressed her joy over the positive response right from the premiere shows. She said the audience feedback, reviews, and social-media reactions have been extremely heartening, with many viewers sharing their own love stories inspired by the film. She added that, like Santosh, she had been waiting for a meaningful opportunity, and Couple Friendly gave her the perfect story. She also appreciated the energy of Dheeraj Mogilineni, the efforts of Ajay Kumar Raju, and the hard work of the entire team.
