Jinn Is a Fresh Concept That Will Truly Scare and Engage Audiences, Says Producer Nikhil M. Gowda
Produced by Nikhil M. Gowda under the banners Sadalamma Film Productions and Bilva Studios, Jinn stars Amit Rao, Parvez Simba, Prakash Tuminad, Ravi Bhatt, and Sangeetha in key roles. Directed by Chinmay Ram, the film is set for a grand theatrical release on December 19. The teaser and trailer have already created strong interest among audiences. As the release date nears, producer Nikhil M. Gowda spoke to the media about the film.
“I’m from Bengaluru, and I’ve been passionate about cinema since childhood. I mostly grew up watching Telugu films, which inspired me to enter the industry. Initially, I wanted to become an actor, but my journey eventually led me to film production,” he shared.
Nikhil said he came to know director Chinmay Ram through mutual friends. “Knowing my love for cinema, Chinmay narrated the story of Jinn. I immediately liked the concept because it felt new and different, and that’s when I decided to produce the film.
The film was shot along the Karnataka–Andhra border. “Jinn has a unique concept that will keep audiences hooked. I’ve watched the final film, and the same excitement I felt while hearing the story is clearly reflected on screen. It’s a film that genuinely creates fear,” he said.
He added that Alex’s background score and Sunil Honnali’s cinematography are major strengths. “The film offers a powerful theatrical experience. Chinmay Ram has executed the story beautifully, and the entire team’s effort shows in the final output.”
Praising the cast, Nikhil said, “Amit Rao, Parvez Simba, Prakash Tuminad, Ravi Bhatt, and Sangeetha all delivered strong performances and were very cooperative throughout the shoot.”
Jinn will give audiences a completely new cinematic experience. The concept of a jinn is not widely explored, and through this film, we are introducing a new world. I hope audiences support this fresh attempt, he said.
Looking ahead, Nikhil revealed that he is currently listening to several new stories. “Discussions are ongoing, and I plan to continue producing films regularly in both Kannada and Telugu.”
