First Look of Kiara Advani as ‘Nadia’ from Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups Revealed
The makers of Rocking Star Yash’s highly anticipated film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups have unveiled the first look of Kiara Advani as Nadia, creating strong buzz across film industries. Slated for release in 2026, the film is already being talked about as one of the biggest projects in the making.
In the newly released poster, Kiara Advani appears in a striking and layered avatar. At first glance, she looks glamorous against a colourful circus backdrop, but her expression carries a quiet sadness, hinting at deep emotional complexity. The look suggests that Nadia is a powerful, performance-driven character and marks a new and intense phase in Kiara’s career.
Director Geetu Mohandas praised Kiara’s performance, saying that some roles go beyond a film and redefine an actor. She described Kiara’s work in Toxic as transformative and expressed pride in the dedication and trust the actress brought to the project.
Toxic also marks Yash’s return to the big screen four years after KGF: Chapter 2. The announcement gains added significance as it comes on the 7th anniversary of KGF, a film that changed Indian cinema’s landscape.
Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in multiple Indian languages. The film boasts a strong technical team, including cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music composer Ravi Basrur, editor Ujwal Kulkarni, and production designer TP Abid. Action sequences are choreographed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry along with Anbariv.
