Discover Andhra Title and Glimpse Launch

We Must Protect Our Culture and Nature Supreme Hero Sai Durga Tej at the ‘Discover Andhra’ Launch

A new documentary titled “Discover Andhra” has been created under the guidance of Navadeep Pallapolli and Sai Durga Tej, with support from the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Directed by Srikanth Mannepuri, the film is produced by Padala Surender Reddy and Sravya Koonam.

The title and first glimpse were unveiled on Saturday in the presence of several special guests.

Sai Durga Tej’s Speech

Sai Durga Tej shared his gratitude and thoughts at the event:

He said he was thankful to the team for presenting the beauty of Andhra Pradesh in such an impressive way. “There are many wonders around us that we fail to notice,” he remarked.

He recalled how he became passionate about wildlife conservation in 2020. Along with a friend, he started an NGO called Green Pass, which works on beach cleanups and protecting coastal birds and marine life.

He added that safeguarding nature is everyone’s responsibility.

Tej noted that environmental awareness was also highlighted in his film Republic, and praised the documentary for showcasing the region’s wildlife with authenticity.

“We must protect our culture and nature,” he emphasized, thanking music director Mani Sharma for supporting the project.

Actor Navadeep’s Speech

Navadeep, who has supported the project from the beginning, shared his experience:

He said Srikanth started his wildlife journey in 2014, and the documentary shot entirely in Andhra Pradesh left him stunned. After spending a day in the forest, he felt refreshed and inspired, but also saddened by how society harms the animals we share our environment with.

Navadeep said he encouraged Srikanth’s mission of showcasing Andhra’s wildlife. During this time, they met Sai Durga Tej, who was moved by the visuals and immediately reached out to Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for support.

He said Srikanth has spent years capturing Andhra’s hidden treasures, and his 72-minute documentary will leave audiences amazed, making them wonder, “Do we really have such natural wonders in our state?”

Director Srikanth spoke about the intention behind his work:

After graduation, he spent several years researching wildlife. While many people focused on wildlife elsewhere, he realized the rich biodiversity in the Telugu states was being overlooked. His volunteering experience with the Forest Department opened his eyes to many incredible aspects of the region.

He said Andhra Pradesh is home to countless wonders, and he wanted people to become aware of them. His goal is to make people immediately think of Andhra when they hear the word “wildlife.”

He assured that while only the title and glimpse were shown today, the upcoming trailer will captivate everyone.

Srikanth thanked Pawan Kalyan, Navadeep, Sai Durga Tej, and Mani Sharma for their strong support.
