Cinematica Expo 2025 – Where Filmmaking Meets the Future P.G. Vinda, Managing Director

Cinema is a dream, and technology and creativity make that dream come true.

Cinematica Expo 2025 is a platform that brings together film professionals, students, and creators to explore the future of filmmaking.

The 3rd edition of Cinematica Expo will be held on November 1 and 2 at Novotel HICC, Hyderabad. The event is organized by the Cineeka Creators Council, with the support of the Government of Telangana and IndiaJoy.

This year’s theme is “From Hollywood to Hyderabad: Building the Global Gateway of Cinema.”

Top international brands like Fujifilm will take part in the expo. There will be masterclasses, workshops, and networking sessions on cinematography, VFX, virtual production, and AI filmmaking.

Cinematica started in 2023 as India’s first FilmTech Expo. In 2024, it introduced Virtual Production and AI technology to Indian filmmakers. In 2025, with the vision of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the expo aims to connect Indian cinema to the global stage.

Our goal is to bring cinema, technology, art, and culture together on one platform and guide the next phase of growth for the Indian film industry.

About P.G. Vinda

Well-known cinematographer P.G. Vinda entered the Telugu film industry in 2004. For the past 20 years, he has worked with dedication and creativity, always learning new technologies from around the world.

He started the Cinematica Expo to help filmmakers and creators gain access to modern filmmaking tools and ideas.

Like every year, this year’s Cinematica Expo will be held on November 1–2 at Novotel, HICC Hyderabad.

Last year, the event received a great response, and this year it will be even bigger a blockbuster edition.

More than 100 international exhibitors and speakers will attend. Visitors can learn about new cameras, filmmaking, and VFX technologies.

“If we keep learning new technologies, we can create wonders in cinema,” said Vinda.

“Whether it’s OTT or theatrical films, Cinematica gives everyone a chance to explore new opportunities.”

Last year, over 40,000 people including filmmakers, vloggers, influencers, and film students attended the expo. The Telugu film industry gave tremendous support.

Vinda said Cinematica, which started in Hyderabad, has now become an international event, thanks to the vision and encouragement of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

 For Every Creator

Vinda believes that filmmaking should be open to everyone not just a few people in the industry. Cinematica Expo gives a platform even to young and rural creators to learn and connect.

The Cineeka Creators Council, a non-profit organization, supports the expo and helps provide knowledge, tools, and opportunities to film and art professionals.

Next year, Cinematica will also host a Film Carnival a five-day festival that will showcase world cinema, technical sessions, and talks by editors, VFX artists, and directors.

Highlights of 2025 Edition

Cinematica Awards Ceremony will be introduced this year.

AI sessions will continue, with experts explaining how AI tools can help filmmakers.

Global Capacity Center (GCC) Model: Executive Director Panja Shravan said that soon Hyderabad will have all major filmmaking tools and software available locally making it a hub for film and creative industries.
