‘Game of Change’: Untold Real-Life Stories from India’s Glorious Past Hit the Big Screen on May 14
An international multi-language film inspired by real events at Nalanda University from the 5th–12th century
Hyderabad, May 7:
Game of Change, a compelling historical drama rooted in real-life stories from ancient India, is set for a grand worldwide release on May 14. Set against the iconic backdrop of Nalanda University, the film brings to life powerful, lesser-known events that shaped Indian civilization between the 5th and 12th centuries.
Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Sidhin, this ambitious project will be released in six languages: English, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Produced by Siddharth Rajasekhar and Meena Chabbria under the Siddharth Rajasekhar Productions banner, the film features a diverse ensemble of national and international talent.
Speaking about the film, director Sidhin shared:
Game of Change is a narrative of transformation. The film captures real-life moments where ordinary decisions sparked extraordinary ripple effects. Set in the timeless corridors of Nalanda University—established by Kumaragupta in 427 CE—we’ve recreated events that echo across generations.”
Producer Siddharth Rajasekhar, who also plays a key role in the film, added:
I’ve spent years mentoring over 30,000 people through my platform ‘Internet Lifestyle Hub’ and my bestselling book You Can Coach. But cinema has always been a passion. With Game of Change, I’ve stepped into the world of filmmaking to bring untold stories from our past to a global audience.
Co-producer Meena Chabbria commented:
What we’ve attempted is unprecedented in Indian cinema. Much like Chhava did with the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Game of Change will evoke a deep sense of pride and curiosity. These are stories that every Indian and the world deserves to know.
