6Journey Will Stir Hearts with Themes of Terrorism and Patriotism” – Director Bashir Aaluri
The upcoming film 6Journey, helmed by director Bashir Aaluri, is all set to hit the big screens on May 9. Produced by Palyam Sheshamma and Basireddy under the banner of Aruna Kumari Films, with Ravi Prakash Reddy also serving as the lead actor and producer, the film features a talented ensemble cast including Sameer Datta, Tasty Teja, Pallavi, Ramya Reddy, and more.
Speaking about the project, director Bashir Aaluri shared his journey and insights into the making of the film:
“The road to 6Journey hasn’t been easy. After directing Samaram in Telugu and a film in Kannada, this is my third directorial venture. The story follows six individuals whose plan for a carefree trip to Goa takes a dark turn as they contemplate ending their lives. But what unfolds during their journey changes everything.”
Aaluri emphasized the emotional and conceptual depth of the film:
“The film dives into the psychological and social factors that bring these characters to the edge, then slowly unravels a larger narrative rooted in terrorism. It’s more than just a thriller it’s a reflection of today’s world and the choices young people face.”
He praised the cast and crew for their dedication:
Sameer and Pallavi delivered standout performances. Newcomer Abhiram impressed everyone with his portrayal of the antagonist. From our fresh music director MN Sinha to a debut fight master, every member of the team brought passion and energy. Our producer, a cinema enthusiast from my hometown, believed in the story and backed it wholeheartedly.”
The shoot came with its fair share of challenges:
We shot the film during the rainy season and even filmed at border locations. Nature tested us, but also cooperated when it mattered most. The unexpected weather did stretch our budget, but we never compromised on quality.
On the music front, Aaluri is confident:
“MN Sinha has composed some fantastic tracks, and one song is already gaining traction on YouTube. Music plays a crucial role in this film, enhancing both the emotion and the impact.
He concluded with a powerful note about the film’s message:
The climax is especially intense. It raises a powerful question: How can terrorism strike the land where Lord Rama was born? The ending is crafted to spark patriotism and reflection among viewers, especially the youth. This isn’t just a movie it’s a wakeup call.
Looking ahead, Bashir Aaluri also revealed that he’s gearing up for his next project:
I’m planning my next film set in Mumbai. The script is in progress, and I hope to launch it by October. More details will follow soon.
