"Tuk Tuk Will Entertain Audiences Non-Stop, Says Producer Rahul Reddy
A Fantasy Thriller Packed with Magical Elements, Set for Release on March 21
Bringing a fresh blend of fantasy and entertainment, Tuk Tuk is all set to hit the screens on March 21. Starring Harsha Roshan, Karthikeya Dev, Steven Madhu, Saanvi Meghana, and Nihal Kodati in key roles, the film is directed by C. Supreeth Krishna and produced by Rahul Reddy. The movie promises a thrilling cinematic experience with a unique concept and engaging storytelling.
On this occasion, producer Rahul Reddy interacted with the media and shared insights about the film.
Speaking about his background, Rahul Reddy said, "I worked in multiple IT companies before launching an animation studio. I met director Supreeth through a mutual friend, and together, we created the web series Alanati Chitralu. Since I always had a passion for cinema, I wanted to step into theatrical filmmaking. When Supreeth narrated the fantasy thriller Tuk Tuk, I was immediately drawn to it and decided to produce it."
With experience in animation and a strong belief in the film's content, Rahul envisioned Tuk Tuk as more than just a standalone film—it’s the beginning of a franchise that blends commercial appeal with a fresh storytelling approach.
Rahul is confident about the film’s impact. "If the content is strong, audiences will embrace it, regardless of language or region. A well-crafted story will always find success," he stated.
Explaining the unique title, Rahul shared, "In some parts of the world, auto-rickshaws are referred to as Tuk Tuk. In our film, the Tuk Tuk vehicle plays a crucial role, making it the perfect title."
With Harsha Roshan’s recent film Court receiving acclaim, Rahul believes it adds to the anticipation for Tuk Tuk. "The success of Court is a great boost for us. It has increased Roshan's visibility, which will undoubtedly help our film reach a wider audience," he remarked.
The film is a complete package, offering entertainment, emotion, fantasy, and thrilling moments. "From start to finish, Tuk Tuk will keep the audience engaged for two and a half hours without a single dull moment," Rahul assured.
Rahul’s decision to bring Supreeth on board was based on their shared vision. "I was captivated by the story he narrated. Our thought process aligns well, and I had full confidence in his ability to deliver," he said.
The film introduces magical elements through a mysterious vehicle, which has sparked curiosity among audiences. "The teaser and trailer have already raised questions is it a fantasy or a horror film? This intrigue is working in our favor," Rahul noted.
Even before hitting the screens, Tuk Tuk has made a strong impression. "Our digital and satellite rights were sold at a great price, which is a testament to the film’s potential. The response from early screenings has been overwhelmingly positive, boosting our confidence even further," he revealed.
Looking ahead, Rahul is excited about expanding the Tuk Tuk universe. "Depending on the response, we plan to take this concept further and develop it into a franchise. We've already included hints in the film for future installments," he hinted.
With strong pre-release buzz and a unique premise, Tuk Tuk promises to be an exciting watch for audiences when it releases on March 21.
