At the grand pre-release event held on Sunday, the film industry’s biggest names, including directors Harish Shankar, Sai Rajesh, and Kishore Tirumala, extended their support for the project.
Director Harish Shankar praised Pradeep Ranganathan, acknowledging his growing influence in Telugu cinema. “Once we adopt a hero, we cherish everything he does. Pradeep has earned that love. I have immense respect for Ashwath Marimuthu, and the film’s trailer itself suggests it’s going to be a massive hit. Mythri Movie Makers have an eye for talent, just like AGS in Tamil. I will be there on the first day, first show, and I encourage everyone to support this film.”
Speaking to the audience, Pradeep Ranganathan made a heartfelt effort to converse in Telugu. “When I came here for ‘Love Today,’ I promised to speak Telugu next time, and here I am, trying my best. The story of ‘Return of the Dragon’ is about persistence and the journey of a simple boy striving for success. I am deeply grateful for the Telugu audience’s support and hope this film stays in everyone’s hearts. Thanks to my director Ashwath, Mythri Movie Makers, and our producer Archana Medan for believing in me. Please watch our film on February 21.”
Director Ashwath Marimuthu expressed his excitement and gratitude. “The Telugu audience is known for embracing good cinema, and Pradeep speaking in Telugu today is proof of his dedication. AGS has always been my home, and I am thrilled to continue working with them. Every technician dreams of working under the Mythri banner, and I’m lucky to have them backing our film. Anupama and Kayadu have delivered stellar performances, and Leon James’ music will be a highlight. I hope the audience showers ‘Dragon’ with love.”
Producer SKN lauded the team’s hard work, recalling his admiration for ‘Love Today’ and Ashwath’s directorial skills. “Krishna, who wrote the Telugu dialogues, shared the story with me, and I can confidently say this movie will be amazing. AGS gave Tamil audiences ‘Pushpa,’ and now we hope the Telugu audience makes this film a grand success.”
Actress Kayadu Lohar, making her Tamil and Telugu debut, expressed her excitement. “This project is very special to me. Ashwath is a visionary director, and I would love to work with AGS again. Pradeep is multi-talented, and I hope everyone supports ‘Return of the Dragon.’”
Producer Archana Kalpathi emphasized the film’s universal appeal. “This is more than just a youth-centric film; it’s a family entertainer. Pradeep and Ashwath have already won over the Telugu audience, and I hope their magic continues.”
Mythri Movie Makers’ Ravi Shankar praised Pradeep’s generous nature and strong storytelling instincts. “Pradeep’s ‘Love Today’ was a sensation in both Tamil and Telugu. He’s a rare talent, and we are thrilled to bring ‘Return of the Dragon’ to the Telugu audience.”
Director Sai Rajesh and Kishore Tirumala echoed similar sentiments, predicting that the film would follow the blockbuster path of ‘Love Today.’ “Pradeep’s creativity is unmatched, and Ashwath’s direction elevates the film even further,” said Kishore Tirumala.
With high expectations and overwhelming industry support, ‘Return of the Dragon’ is poised for success when it hits theaters on February 21.
