As a first for India, the advance booking opened a month prior to its release date! Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness in theatres in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on May 6, 2022.

With every box office record being broken, there is a Marvel film always attached to it and this time yet again with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a new record seems to have taken place. The sequel to Doctor Strange is off to a great start collecting over Rs.10 crore plus since the advance opened in India and with 6 more days remaining to its release.

Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been one of the most anticipated cinematic events of 2022. The big ticket entertainer has already hooked the audiences with its bumper advance bookings 30 days before release- making this the first ever such advance for any Hollywood release!

As the film gears up for its massive release next week, the early trend in the numbers showcase an encouraging sign for a big blockbuster start. 

Kamal Gianchandani- CEO - PVR pictures shares, “Marvel films have always created magic on the Indian box office and a month advance opening has been a very strategic move from the studio. There has been a massive response on the advance booking and with the increasing demand from the fans, we are expecting all the shows across India to go house full very soon."

Devang Sampat, CEO Cinepolis says, "Marvel movies enjoy a great fan following in India and this movie has also seen tremendous response. High pre-sale record was last seen in Avengers: Endgame and with such crazy fandom across the nation, we can see yet another Marvel blockbuster coming at Cinépolis India 400 screens."

Rajender Singh Jyala, Chief Programming Officer at INOX Leisure added, "Metro Cities have always been the Marvel fanatics but this time with Doctor Strange what surprises us is that we have got a phenomenal response from Tier 2 markets as well. This indeed shows the reach that Marvel films and characters have created over the years. Natural Star Nani launched the teaser of Muthayya, an upcoming Telugu independent feature film on social media earlier today. Calling it a heartwarming teaser, Nani tweeted saying, “I would have been #Muthayya in my 70’s if Ashta Chamma didn’t happen at my 24 😄  Such a heartwarming Teaser :) Good luck and congrats to the whole team.”

 

Written and directed by Bhaskhar Maurya, the film narrates the story of a 70 year old man, who dreams of acting in movies before he dies. Kedar Selgamsetty and Vamsi Karumanchi are presenting the film under Hylife Entertainments Pvt Ltd banner, and Vrinda Prasad has produced the film under Fictionary Entertainment banner.

 

Talking about the film, Vamsi Karumanchi, who is presenting the film along with Kedar Selagamsetty, said, “We are delighted that Natural Star Nani has launched the teaser of our film. Hylife Entertainments team thanks him wholeheartedly for supporting Muthayya. It’s a heartwarming film which will leave a great impression on the viewers.”

 

Vrinda Prasad, who produced the film under Fictionary Entertainment banner, thanked Nani for launching the teaser and said, “I’m thrilled that Nani has launched the teaser of Muthayya. Debutant director Bhaskhar Maurya, who has also written the film, said, “We are all grateful to Nani garu for releasing the teaser. I was inspired by the lives of several people near my hometown, which resulted in me writing and directing this feature film. I thank the whole team of Muthayya for supporting me to bring this story alive, and I hope it resonates with the viewers as well.”

 

K Sudhakar Reddy has played the lead role in the film. Arun Raj, Mounika Bomma, Purna Chandra, T Sai Leela, Jayavardhan Sagar, and Kiran Kumar have played other important characters.

 

Popular cinematographer Divakar Mani has shot the film and he’s also the co-producer of the film. Karthik Rodriguez has scored the music.

 

Several other celebrities and dignitaries including Dr Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to AP & Telangana, also congratulated Muthayya’s team on the occasion of the teaser launch and getting selected for screening at UK Asian Film Festival.

 

A few days ago, the film made a big splash on social media when Kajal Aggarwal unveiled the first poster and the makers also announced that it has been officially selected for screening in UK Asian Film Festival. It’s the only Telugu film which is in competition at the film festival this year. The film will have its world premiere at Rich Mix, London on May 9.

అశోకవ‌నంలో అర్జున క‌ళ్యాణం’’ సినిమాలో నేను చేసిన పాత్ర నాకు ఎంతో ద‌గ్గ‌రైన రోల్‌. మాధ‌వి అనే పాత్ర‌లో క‌నిపిస్తాను.ఇందులో నాది చాలా ఛాలెంజింగ్ రోల్. టేక్ అయ్యాక కూడా నేను  ఆ పాత్ర మూడ్ లోనే వుండే దాన్ని ఇందులో మంచి ఎమోషన్స్ ఉంటాయి.ఇలాంటి మంచి సినిమాలో అవకాశం ఇచ్చిన డైరెక్ట‌ర్ విద్యాసాగ‌ర్.. నిర్మాత‌లు బాపినీడు, సుధీర్‌గార్లకు అంద‌రికీ థాంక్స్‌ .

మా పేరెంట్స్ కూడా లవ్ మ్యారేజే చేసుకున్నారు.వారి సపోర్ట్ తోనే నేను లవ్ మ్యారేజ్ చేసుకోవాలి అనుకుంటున్నాను.నాకు కాబోయే భర్త నన్ను అర్థం చేసుకొని నన్ను ఎంకరేజ్ చెయ్యాలి.

ఒక పెద్ద స్టార్ హీరో సినిమాకి పని చేయడంలో లాభ నష్టాలు ఎలా వుంటాయి ?

భారీ అంచనాలు వుండటం ఒక ఇష్యూ. ఆ అంచనాలు అందుకోవడం కోసం ఏదైనా స్పెషల్ స్కూల్ వుంటే బావున్ననిపిస్తుంటుంది. మ్యూజిక్ చేయడమే కాకుండా దాన్ని చక్కగా ప్రమోట్ చేసి జనాల దగ్గరికి తీసుకెళ్ళడం కూడా ఒక భాద్యతగా మారింది. చెవులకి మాత్రమే కాదు మేము కూడా కనిపించాల్సిన తప్పనిసరి పరిస్థితిలోకి వచ్చేశాం. ఒకసారి చేశాం. ఇప్పుడది అలవాటు గా మారిపోయింది. 

లిరికల్ వీడియోకి కూడా భారీగా ఖర్చు పెట్టడం మీతోనే మొదలైయింది కదా ? 

ఆడియో కంపెనీలు కూడా ఆసక్తి చూపిస్తున్నారు. పాట బాలేకపోతే వారు పెట్టుబడి పెట్టరు. వాళ్లకి కూడా కొన్ని లెక్కలు, టీమ్ వుంటుంది. అందరూ అప్రూవ్ చేయనిదే అంతంత బడ్జెట్లు రావు. పెట్టుబడికి తగిన రాబడి వస్తుందా లేదా అనేది చెక్ చేసుకుంటారు. 150 మిలియన్ వ్యూస్ సాధించడం అంత తేలిక విషయం కాదు. సినిమాలే కాదు పాటలు కూడా పాన్ ఇండియా అయిపోయాయి. ఒక పాట రీచ్ అవాలంటే..  అది గ్లోబల్ గా ఉందా ? ఎవరు పాడుతున్నారు ? ఇలా చాలా అంశాలు వుంటాయి. ఈ భాద్యతలన్నీ తీసుకోవాల్సివస్తుంది. 

ఇది వరకూ పాట స్లోగా హిట్టు అయ్యే పరిస్థితి వుండేది. కానీ ఇప్పుడన్నీ ఇన్స్టెంట్ హిట్స్ వస్తున్నాయి కదా .. ? 

ఇది వత్తిడితో కూడుకున్న వ్యవహారమే. మంచి మ్యూజిక్ ఇవ్వడం ఒక ఎత్తు అయితే , అంచనాలు, వత్తిడి ని భరించగలడా ? అనేది కూడా చూస్తున్నారు. దర్శకుడు, హీరో, ఫ్యాన్స్ .. ఇలా అందరూ మ్యూజిక్ తప్పు ఒప్పులు చెబుతుంటారు. దీంతో పాటు మిగతా భాషల పాటలతో కూడా పోటీ వుంటుంది. అయితే ఇలాంటి ఆరోగ్యకరమైన పోటీ వుంటే మంచిది. ఈ వత్తిడి కూడా ఓ మంచి పాటని ఇవ్వడానికి అడ్వాంటేజ్ గా వుంటుంది. 

మల్టీ ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ చేస్తూ, అంచనాలు అందుకోవడం సాధ్యమా ? 

చాలా కష్టం. దిని కోసం బ్రెయిన్ తో పాటు పరిగెత్తాలి.అయితే ఇప్పుడు మంచి విషయం ఏమిటంటే..  డిఫరెంట్ కథలతో సినిమాలు వస్తున్నాయి. దీంతో ఒకేలా కాకుండా డిఫరెంట్ గా అలోచించే అవకాశం వుంది. జోనర్స్ మారడం వలన మ్యూజిక్ కూడా డిఫరెంట్ జోనర్స్ లో వస్తుంది. సర్కారు వారి పాట విషయానికి వస్తే ఇది అవుట్ అండ్ అవుట్ కమర్షియల్ సినిమా. సినిమా మొత్తం స్పార్క్ తగ్గనే  తగ్గదు. సినిమా అంతా షైనింగ్ కనిపిస్తూనే వుంటుంది. సర్కారు వారి పాట పవర్ ప్యాక్డ్ కమర్షియల్ ఎంటర్ టైనర్ . 

ట్యూన్ బావుంటే ఆటోమేటిక్ కన్విన్స్ అవుతారా ? లేదా వేరే పద్దతి వుంటుందా ? 

మేము ఎన్ని ట్యూన్స్ అయిన చేయడానికి రెడీగా వుంటాం. అయితే అది కథకు సరిపొతుందా లేదా ? అనేది ముఖ్యం. దర్శకుడు ఎంతో కాలం కష్టపడి ఒక కథని రెడీ చేసుకుంటాడు. కథని లిరికల్ గా చెప్పడానికి పాట కావాలి. ఇది చాలా పెద్ద భాద్యత. ఇప్పడు కథలో నుంచి వచ్చే పాటలే ఎక్కువ. సర్కారు వారి పాటలో కళావతి పాట ఇలా కథలో నుంచి వచ్చిందే. చాలా రోజుల తర్వాత ఒక మెలోడి పాటకు థియేటర్ స్టేజ్ ఎక్కి ఆడియన్స్ డ్యాన్స్ చేస్తారు. అంత అద్భుతంగా వుంటుంది కళావతి సాంగ్. 

కళావతి పాట ఓకే అవ్వడానికి ఎన్ని వెర్షన్స్ చేశారు ? 

ఒకటే వెర్షన్. 2020 లాక్ డౌన్ లో చేసిన పాటది. నేను, దర్శకుడు పరశురాం గారు, గీత రచయిత అనంత శ్రీరామ్ జూమ్ కాల్ మాట్లాడుతూ సినిమాలో హీరోయిన్ పేరుతో అనుకున్న ఫస్ట్ లైను. నాకు సామజవరగమనా , దర్శకుడు పరశురాం కి ఇంకేం ఇంకేం కావాలె లాంటి మేలోడిస్ వున్నాయి. ఖచ్చితంగా ఆడియన్స్ చాలా అంచనాలతో వుంటారు, అన్నిటికంటే ముఖ్యం మహేష్ బాబు గారు చాలా కాలం తర్వాత హీరోయిన్ పాత్రని ఉద్దేశించి పాడుతున్న ఒక బ్యూటిఫుల్ సాంగ్..ఇది చాలా ప్యూర్ గా డిజైన్ చేయాలనీ ముందే అనుకున్నాం. అలా కళావతి పాటతో కంపోజింగ్ స్టార్ట్ చేశాం. అయితే పాట కంపోజ్ చేసి రెండేళ్ళు దాటిపోయింది. ఈ గ్యాప్ లో పాటకు రోజు ప్రాణం  పోస్తూ చివరిగా రిలీజ్ చేశాం. మా కష్టం వృధా కాలేదు.  ఫాస్టెస్ట్ గా 150మిలియన్స్ వ్యూస్ క్రాస్ చేసి కళావతి పాట అందరినీ అలరించింది.         

ఒక ఆల్బం ఆరు పాటలు వుంటే మొదట ఏం పాట విడుదల చేయాలనే చర్చ ఉంటుందా ? 

ఖచ్చితంగా వుంటుంది. మా సినిమానే కాకుండా ఆ సమయానికి బయట సినిమాల్లో ఎలాంటి పాటలు వస్తున్నాయనేది కూడా చూస్తాం. కళావతి పాట విడుదలకి ముందు డీజే టిల్లు, లాలా భీమ్లా నాయక్, బీస్ట్ పాటలు ట్రెండింగ్ లో వున్నాయి. ఈమూడు పాటలు కూడా లౌడ్ మాస్ సాంగ్స్. అలాంటి సమయంలో మెలోడి సాంగ్ అయితే బెస్ట్ అని భావించాం. కళావతి పాట రిలీజ్ చేశాం. అయితే లాక్ డౌన్లో  చాలా ఆర్ధిక సమస్యలు ఉన్నపటికీ పాటని నమ్మి లిరికల్ వీడియోకి  రూ. 30లక్షలు ఖర్చుపెట్టారు. నేను సిద్ శ్రీరామ్ చెన్నయ్ లో గ్రాండ్ గా త్రీడీ ఇమాజినేషన్ లో పియానో బ్యాక్ డ్రాప్ లో షూట్ చేశాం. ఈ విషయంలో నిర్మాతల గొప్పదనాన్ని అభినందించాలి. మా నిర్మాతలకి సినిమాపై బలమైన ప్యాషన్ వుంది. నిర్మాతలు రాజీపడకుండా ఖర్చు చేయడం వలనే ఈ రోజు పాట ఇంత హిట్ అయ్యింది. సినిమా నుండి రాబోతున్న మరో రెండు మాస్ సాంగ్స్ కూడా అద్భుతంగా వుంటాయి. 

ఇలా ప్రతి పాటకి ఖర్చు చేస్తే మీ రేమ్యునిరేషన్ కంటే ఎక్కువ అవుతుందేమో ? 

మరీ అంత వెరైటీ స్టెప్స్ తీసుకోము( నవ్వుతూ) ఏ పాటకి చేయాలి ఏ పాటకు చేయకూడదనే తెలుసు. 

పాట ఫెబ్రవరిలో విడుదల చేశాం. సినిమా మే లో రిలీజ్. అంటే అప్పుడే హీరో హీరోయిన్ విజువల్స్ బయటికి ఇవ్వలేం కదా.. అలా చేస్తా మళ్ళీ ప్రమోషన్స్ కి కంటెంట్ వుండదు. అందుకే ఇలా స్పెషల్ షూట్ చేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. తర్వాత మహేష్ బాబు గారి డాటర్ సితార తో పెన్నీ సాంగ్ చేశాం. సితార రాక్ స్టార్. సితార వీడియోలు కొన్ని మహేష్ గారి చూపించి .. పెన్నీ సాంగ్ సితారతోనే చేస్తే బావుటుందని రిక్వెస్ట్ చేశా. తర్వాత నమ్రతగారిని కలసి చెప్పా. ఓకే చెప్పారు. మేము పొద్దునుంచి చేస్తే సితార మూడు గంటల్లో సాంగ్ షూటింగ్ ఫినిస్ చేసింది. ఫైనల్ కట్ చూసిన మహేష్ గారు చాలా హ్యాపీ గా ఫీలయ్యారు.

ఇన్స్ట్రుమెంట్స్, సింగర్స్ విషయంలో ఈ సినిమాకి ఎలాంటి కొత్తదాన్ని చూపించారు ? 

సర్కారు వారి పాట మ్యూజిక్ కంప్లీట్ అర్బన్ గా వుంటుంది. లాక్ డౌన్ కారణంగా ఈ సినిమా ఆలస్యం అవుతుందని ముందే తెలుసు. అయితే ఎప్పుడు వచ్చినా ఫ్రెష్ గా వుండే సౌండ్స్ వుండాలని ముందే ఫిక్స్ అయ్యా. శంకర్ గారి సినిమాలు ఇలా జరుగుతుంటాయి. ట్యూన్ ఎప్పుడు ఓకే అయినా రిలీజ్ అయ్యే వరకూ కొత్తగా ప్రోగ్రమ్ చేస్తూనే వుంటారు. సర్కారు వారి పాటలో మ్యూజిక్ ని ఎప్పటికప్పుడు కొత్తగా ప్రోగ్రామ్ చేస్తూనే వచ్చాం. 

దర్శకుడు పరశురాం గారి మ్యూజిక్ టేస్ట్ ఎలా వుంటుంది ?

ఎంతో కష్టపడి చేసిన సాంగ్ లీక్ అవ్వడంతో ఎలా ఫీలయ్యారు ? 

కోపం రాలేదు కానీ చాలా బాధ అనిపించింది. ఇప్పటికే కరోనాతో నిర్మాతలు కుదేలయ్యారు. ఇలాంటి సమయంలో ఇండస్ట్రీ బాగు కోరుకోవాలి కానీ ఇలాంటి పనులు ఎలా చేస్తారో అర్ధం కాదు. లీకు ఎవరు చేశారో తెలిసింది. కానీ ఏం చేస్తాం.. మా నిర్మాతలు పెద్ద మనసున్న వ్యక్తులు. కెరీర్ నాశనం కాకూడదని వార్నింగ్ ఇచ్చి పంపించేశాం.

ఇప్పుడు అందరు స్టార్లు తమన్ మ్యూజిక్ కావాలని అంటున్నారు . ఇది మీకు గోల్డెన్ పిరియడ్ అనుకోవచ్చా?

గోల్డెన్ పిరియడ్ అని చెప్పను. వాళ్ళు నాపై పెట్టుకున్న తగ్గట్టు కష్టపడి పని చేయాలి. వాళ్ళ ట్రస్ట్ ని రస్ట్ చేయకపోతే చాలు.  

 

మ్యూజిక్ కి కొత్తగా ఏదైనా చేయాలనీ ఉందా ? 

ఇండిపెండెంట్ గా మ్యూజిక్ తేవాలి. ఫిల్మ్ మ్యూజిక్ ని  ఇంటర్నేషన్ ల్ గా తీసుకెళ్ళాలి. తెలుగు సినిమా నేడు పాన్ వరల్డ్ గా వెళ్ళింది. మ్యూజిక్ విషయంఆలో బాధ్యత ఇంకా పెరిగింది. 

 

అఖండ తర్వాత థమనే నేపధ్య సంగీతం చేయాలనే అభిప్రాయం వచ్చింది ? దీన్ని ఎలా చూస్తారు ? 

ఈ క్రెడిట్ బాలయ్య, బోయపాటి గారికే దక్కుతుంది, సినిమాలో మ్యాజిక్ లేకపోతె ఎంత మ్యూజిక్ చేసిన నిలబడదు. అఖండలో ఆ పవర్ వుంది.

 

తమన్ అన్నీ వందకోట్ల సినిమాలే చేస్తాడని ప్రచారంలో వుంది ? 

ఈ ప్రచారంలో నిజం లేదు. మ్యూజిక్ కి స్కోప్ వుండే అన్ని సినిమాలు చేయాలనీ వుంటుంది. 

 

ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో మీరు విన్న యునిక్ వాయిస్ ? 

సిద్ శ్రీరామ్. ఇది వరకూ నా దగ్గర చాలా హిట్స్ పాడారు. కళావతి పాటలో సిద్ శ్రీరామ్ మరింత యునిక్ గా అనిపించింది. గాడ్ ఫాదర్ లో ఒక బ్లైండ్ సింగర్ తో పాట పాడించాం. ఆ పాట కూడా అద్భుతంగా ఉండబోతుంది.

 

సర్కారు వారి పాటలో మీకు సవాల్ గా అనిపించిన పాట ? 

టైటిల్ సాంగ్. టైటిల్ సాంగ్ చేయడం చాలా కష్టం. నాకు మహేష్ గారికి దూకుడు . ఆగడు , బిజినెస్ మ్యాన్ సినిమాలు వున్నాయి. సర్కారు వారి టైటిల్ సాంగ్ కి వచ్చేసరికి ఎక్కువ కష్టపడ్డాం. అయితే ఫైనల్ గా అద్భుతమైన పాట వచ్చింది. 

 

కొత్తగా చేస్తున్న సినిమాలు ? 

రామ్ చరణ్ శంకర్ గారి సినిమా ఒక పాట బ్యాలెన్స్ వుంది. చిరంజీవి గారి గాడ్ ఫాదర్ కూడా ఒకటే పాట బ్యాలెన్స్, విజయ్ తో చేస్తున్న సినిమాకి మూడు పాటలు, బాలకృష్ణ గారి సినిమా ఒక పాట రికార్డ్ చేశాం.

Promising young hero Sree Vishnu who has been attempting wide variety of subjects is all set to enthrall in yet another different movie Bhala Thandanana. Directed by Chaitanya Dantuluri of Baanam fame, the film gets new release date. It will arrive in theatres worldwide on May 6th, as one of the summer specials. They are planning aggressive promotions, this week.

Rajani Korrapati is producing and Sai Korrapati of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram is presenting the movie. Mani Sharma rendered soundtracks and lyrical video of first two songs got good response. The film’s teaser also received terrific response.

  Billed to be a commercial entertainer, Catherine Tresa played the female lead in the movie. Srikanth Vissa is the writer, while Suresh Ragutu handled the cinematography. దర్శకుడు పరశురాం గారి సినిమాలు ఫ్యామిలీ డ్రామా,  ఫీల్ గుడ్ లవ్ స్టోరీలా వుంటాయి. కానీ సర్కారు వారి పాట లో హై వోల్టేజ్ మాస్ ఎలిమెంట్స్ ఎక్కువగా వుంటాయి. గీత గోవిందం, పోకిరి.. ఈ రెండు సినిమాలు నేనే ఎడిట్ చేశాను. ఈ రెండు సినిమాలు కలిపితే ఎలా వుంటుందో సర్కారు వారి పాట అలా వుంటుంది. పోకిరికి మించి సర్కారు వారి పాట హిట్ అవుతుంది. సర్కారు వారి పాటలో మంచి ఫీల్ వుంటుంది. అందరికీ కనెక్ట్ అయ్యే మెసేజ్ వుంది. నేను చేసిన సినిమాలన్నీటి కంటే మహేష్ బాబు ఈ సినిమాలో చాలా అందంగా వుంటారు. ఫ్యాన్స్, ఫ్యామిలీస్, మాస్ కి ఈ సినిమా చాలా నచ్చుతుంది. ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ అంతా యూత్ ఫుల్ గా, సెకండ్ హాఫ్ ఫ్యామిలీ ఎమోషన్, యాక్షన్ తో అదిరిపోతుంది.

పోకిరి తర్వాత మహేష్ బాబు గారి చాలా హిట్స్ వచ్చాయి కదా? మరి పోకిరితోనే పోల్చడానికి  కారణం ?

పోకిరి నేను ఎడిటర్ గా చేసిన సినిమా. అందుకే పోకిరితో పోల్చాను. పోకిరి రష్ చూసినప్పుడు బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ హిట్ అవుతుందని చెప్పా. సర్కారు వారి పాట ఫస్ట్ రష్ చూసిన తర్వాత పోకిరిని క్రాస్ చేస్తామని చెప్పా. ఈ సినిమా ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ లో హీరో, హీరోయిన్  ట్రాక్ లో తెగ నవ్వుకున్నా. సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో వారు ఎక్కడ కలిసిన చిన్న లాఫ్ వుండేది. థియేటర్ లో ఈ సందడి పెద్దగా ఉంటుందని మా అంచనా. మహేష్ బాబు ఫ్యాన్స్ కి సర్కారు వారి పాట ఒక పెద్ద పండగలా వుంటుంది.

 విజువల్స్ చాలా గ్రాండ్ కనిపించడానికి మైత్రీ మూవీ మేకర్స్, జీ ఎం బీ ఎంటర్ టైన్మెంట్స్ ,14 రీల్స్ ప్లస్ సంయుక్త నిర్మాణం కారణమని భావిస్తున్నారా ?

అవునండీ. దర్శకుడు పరశురాం గారి సినిమాలు చేశాను. కానీ ఫస్ట్ టైం సర్కారు వారి పాట కోసం మైత్రి మూవీ మేకర్స్ ,జీ ఎం బీ ఎంటర్ టైన్మెంట్స్ ,14 రీల్స్ ప్లస్ లో పని చేశాను. నిర్మాణ విలువలు వండర్ ఫుల్ గా వున్నాయి. వీరు అంతా సినిమాని రిచ్ గా తీయాలనే లక్ష్యంగా వుంటారు. సినిమా నిర్మాణంలో ఎక్కడా రాజీపడరు. సినిమా పట్ల వారికున్న అంకితభావం అభినందనీయం. ఇది చాలా మంచి అనుభవం.

దర్శకుడు పరశురాం గారి సినిమాలు క్లాస్ గా వుంటాయి. సర్కార్ వారి పాటలో ఇప్పటివరకూ అంతా మాస్ గానే కనిపిస్తుంది ?

ఇందులో అన్ని ఎలిమెంట్స్ వున్నాయి. హీరో, హీరోయిన్ పాత్రలని ఇష్టపడతాం. హీరోయిన్ పాత్ర చూసినప్పుడు  ఇలాంటి అమ్మాయి మనకీ వుంటే బావున్ననిపిస్తుంది. హీరో పాత్రతో కనెక్ట్ అవుతాం. ఎడిట్ చేసినప్పుడు ఇలాంటి ఫీలింగ్ కలిగితే ఆ సినిమా సూపర్ హిట్ అని జడ్జ్ చేస్తాం. ఎడిట్ చేస్తున్నపుడు సర్కారు వారి పాటకి అద్భుతంగా కనెక్ట్ అయ్యాం. సినిమా ఖచ్చితంగా బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ అవుతుందనే నమ్మకం వుంది.

ఇప్పటి వరకూ ఎన్ని సినిమాలు చేశారు ?

ఇప్పటి వరకూ 450 సినిమాలు చేశాను. మహేష్ గారితో రాజకుమారుడు, టక్కరి దొంగ,పోకిరి, సీతమ్మ వాకిట్లో సిరిమల్లె చెట్టు.. ఇప్పుడు సర్కారు వారి పాటకి చేశాను.

రీలు కంటింగ్ కి, డిజిటల్ కంటిగ్ కి ఎలాంటి తేడా వుంది ?

రీలు కంటింగ్ లో ఎడిటర్ కి రెస్పెక్ట్ వుండేది. ఎవరు చూడాలన్నా ఎడిటింగ్ రూమ్ లోకి రావాలి. పైగా అది హార్డ్ వర్క్. ఇన్ని సినిమాలు చేయలేం, డిజిటల్ వల్ల ఎక్కువ సినిమాలు ఎక్కువ చేయగలుగుతున్నాం. రీలు ఎడిటింగ్ లో ఏడాదికి పది సినిమాలు చేయడం గొప్ప. డిజిటల్ వచ్చిన తర్వాత ఏడాది ఇరవై సినిమాలు కూడా చేయొచ్చు.

రీలు ఎడిటింగ్ లో ఎడిటర్ కి రెస్పెక్ట్ ఉండేదని అన్నారు . అంటే డిజిటల్ లో రెస్పెక్ట్ లేదా ?

రీలు ఎడిటింగ్ ఒకటే వెర్షన్ వుండేది.  డైరెక్టర్, ఎడిటర్ కలసి సినిమాని ఫైనల్ చేసేవారు. నిర్మాతలు కథ విని దానికి ఎవరు హీరో అయితే బావుంటుదని వెళ్ళేవారు. కానీ ఇప్పుడు అంతా రివర్స్ లో వుంది.

ఇప్పుడు సెట్ లోనే ఎడిట్ చేస్తున్నారు కదా ?

సెట్ లో చేసేది పక్కా ఎడిటింగ్ కాదు. ఆ సీన్ వరకే చేస్తారు. ఫైనల్ ప్రోడక్ట్ , స్క్రీన్ ప్లే ఎడిటింగ్ రూం నుండే వెళ్తుంది.

దర్శకుడు పరశురాం తో చాలా కాలంగా ప్రయాణం చేస్తున్నారు. అప్పటికి ,ఇప్పటికి ఆయనలో ఎలాంటి మార్పులు గమనించారు ?

పరశురాం అద్భుతమైన రచయిత. మంచి డైలాగ్స్ రాస్తారు. హీరో, హీరోయిన్స్ పాత్రలు డిఫరెంట్ గా డిజైన్ చేస్తారు. సర్కారు వారి పాటలో మహేష్ బాబు గారి పాత్ర అదిరిపోతుంది. ఈ మధ్యలో కాలంలో ఇలాంటి పాత్రని చుసివుండరు. హీరో క్యారెక్టరైజేషన్ లోనే బోలెడు వినోదం వుంటుంది. చాలా పెద్ద సినిమా అవుతుందని నమ్ముతున్నాను.  

దర్శకుడు పరశురాం ఫస్ట్ టైమ్ మహేష్ బాబు లాంటి సూపర్ స్టార్ తో సినిమా చేస్తున్నారు. కథ ఓకే అయిన తర్వాత మీతో పంచుకున్న విశేషాలు ఏమిటి ?

దర్శకుడు పరశురాం నాకు చాలా సన్నిహితంగా వుంటారు. ఈ కథని గీత గోవిందం సినిమా సమయంలోనే నాకు చెప్పారు. అద్భుతంగా ఉందని అప్పుడే చెప్పా.

సర్కారు వారి పాట చూసిన తర్వాత మహేష్ బాబు గారి రియాక్షన్ ?

అందరూ చాలా హ్యాపీగా వున్నారు. సర్కారు వారి పాట చాలా పెద్ద సినిమా అవుతుంది. నేను చేసిన సినిమాల్లో పోకిరిని క్రాస్ చేస్తుంది.

అన్ని సాంకేతిక విభాగాల్లో కొత్త వారి పేర్లు వినిపిస్తుంటాయి. కానీ ఎడిటింగ్ లో మాత్రం ఓ ముగ్గురు పేర్లే వినిపిస్తాయి. ఇంత లాంగ్ కెరీర్ ఎలా సాధ్యమైయింది?  ఎడిటింగ్ లోకి కొత్తతరం రావడం లేదా ? రానివ్వడం లేదా ?

తరం అని కాదు, మేము కూడా ఆ తరాన్ని దాటుకునే వచ్చాం కదా. కొందరు యూత్ ఫుల్ ఫిల్మ్స్ అంటారు. అంటే మేము యూత్ కాదా? కోమాలో వున్నామా ? దాన్ని దాటే కదా వచ్చాం. వయసుకి సినిమాకి సంబంధం లేదు. ఆ తరాన్ని దాటునికొని వచ్చాం కాబట్టి కథని ఇంకా బాగా చెప్పగలం.

ఎక్కువ సార్లు ఎడిట్ చేయడం వల్ల మీ జడ్జ్ మెంట్ కి ఏమైనా ఇబ్బంది వస్తుందా ?

అలా వుండదు. రష్ చూసినపుడు మొదట వచ్చిన ఫీలింగ్ కే కనెక్ట్ అవుతాం.

ఎడిటర్ రూమ్ లో చాలా చర్చలు జరుగుతుంటాయి. ఎడిటర్ అభిప్రాయాన్ని డైరెక్టర్ అంగీకరిస్తారా?

ఖచ్చితంగా. సినిమా కోసమే కదా గొడవలు పడతాం. ఆడిటోరియం లో చూసేది మేము ముందుగానే చెప్తాం. నేను పని చేసే దర్శకులంతా నా అభిప్రాయాన్ని తీసుకుంటారు.

మీరు బలంగా నమ్మి నిరాశపడిన సినిమా ఏదైనా ఉందా ?

శేఖర్ కమ్ముల లీడర్. ఈ సినిమా పొలిటికల్ సినిమాల్లో చాలా పెద్ద హిట్ అవుతుందని నమ్మాం. కానీ టీవీలో వచ్చినంత స్పందన రిలీజ్ టైం లో రాలేదు.

టెక్నాలజీ పెరిగిన తర్వాత లీకేజీలు పెరిగాయి. దీనిపై ఎలాంటి జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటున్నారు?

మాకు బాగా నమ్మకం వున్న వాళ్ళనే తీసుకుంటాం. తెలియనివారిని అస్సలు పెట్టుకోము. దీనికి కారణం లికేజీలే. మొదట్లో రీలు వుండేది. ఎడిటింగ్ రూమ్, ల్యాబ్ లో ప్రింట్ అయిన రీలు మాత్రమే వెళ్ళాలి. కానీ ఇప్పుడు ప్రతిదానికి అవుట్ పుట్ వెళ్ళిపోతుంది. అందుకే ప్రతిదానికి డేట్ తో సహా వాటర్ మార్క్ వేస్తాం.

ఒక సినిమాకి కూడా పనిచేసే అనుభవం లేని దర్శకులు ఇప్పుడు వస్తున్నారు. ఇలాంటి వారితో పని చేయడం ఎలా వుంటుంది ?

ఎడిటర్ గా మాకు చిన్న చిన్న సమస్యలు వుంటాయి. ఫైట్ మాస్టర్ మొత్తం ఫైట్ వుండాలంటారు. టాప్ యాంగిల్ లో కస్టపడి తీసిన షాట్ ఎందుకు పెట్టలేదని కెమరామెన్ అంటారు. సినిమాకి అక్కర్లేదని మేము తీసేసుంటాం. ఇలాంటి చిన్నచిన్న ఆర్గుమెంట్స్ జరుగుతాయి. ఫైనల్ కాల్ మాత్రం దర్శకుడిదే.

 

ఎడిటింగ్ కి సంబధించిన విమర్శలని ఎలా తీసుకుంటారు ?

విమర్శ మంచిదే. అయితే అది నిర్మాణాత్మకంగా వుండాలి. పది నిమిషాలు తగ్గించుంటే బావుంటుందని చెప్తారు. ఏం తగ్గించాలో చెప్పరు,  ఏ సీన్ బాలేదో చెప్పరు. ఇలా చెప్తే దాని గురించి ఆలోచిస్తాం. మాకూ కొంచెం హెల్ప్ ఫుల్ గా వుంటుంది.

పెద్ద సినిమాకి చివరి నిమిషం వరకూ ఎడిటింగ్ చేస్తూనే వుంటారు. దానివలన ఒత్తిడిపెరుగుతుందా ?

ఒత్తిడి ఖచ్చితంగా వుంటుంది. ఓవర్సిస్ కి మూడు రోజులు ముందే వెళ్ళాలి. అంటే నాలుగు రోజులకి ముందే ఇచ్చేయాలి. దర్శకులకు చివరి నిమిషం వరకూ ఏదో చేయాలనే తాపత్రయం వుంటుంది. చూసింది పదిసార్లు జాగ్రత్తగా చూసి చివరి క్షణం వరకూ దానిపై చర్చజరుగుతుంది. ఇది ప్రతి సినిమాకి వుంటుంది.

పాన్ ఇండియా సినిమాలు విదేశాలకు వెళ్ళినపుడు నిడివి తగ్గిస్తారా ?

లేదు. అవార్డ్ లకి వెళ్ళే సినిమాకి మాత్రం పాటలు తీసేస్తాం. ఇండియన్ లాంగ్వేజస్ కి మాత్రం ఒక ఎడిట్ నే వెళుతుంది.

ఇన్నేళ్ళ కెరీర్ లో మీ ఫేవరేట్ సినిమా ?

ఫేవరేట్ అని ఏమీ లేదు. కొన్ని సినిమాలు చూసినపుడు ఇలాంటి సినిమా మనం చేస్తే బావుండేదనిపిస్తుంది.

మీతోటి ఎడిటర్స్  మధ్య ఎలాంటి అనుబంధం వుంది?

మంచి అనుబంధమే వుంది. వర్క్ గురించి మాట్లాడుకుంటాం. మా కష్టాలు చెప్పుకుంటాం. సినిమా బాగా చేస్తే ఒకరిని ఒకరు ప్రశంసించుకుంటాం.

ఒక సినిమాని విజయవంతం చేయడంలో ఎడిటర్ పాత్ర ఎంత వుంటుంది ?

ఒక దర్శకుడికి ఎడిటర్ కి రిలేషన్ షిప్ బావుంటే చాలా మంచి సినిమా అవుతుంది. ఎంత ఆర్గుమెంట్స్ జరిగితే రిజల్ట్ అంత మంచిగా వస్తుంది.

 

డైరెక్టర్ తన స్వేఛ్చతో ఎడిటర్ ని ఎన్నుకుంటాడా ? హీరో జోక్యం వుంటుందా ?

ఒకొక్క సినిమాకి ఒకొక్కలా వుంటుంది. 'సారోచ్చారా' తప్పితే పరశురాం అన్ని సినిమాలకి నేనే చేశా. దర్శకుడి తరపున వెళితే ఎడిటర్ బలంగా ఉంటాడు.

పాన్ ఇండియా సినిమాలని తెలుగు కాకుండా ఇతర భాషల్లో చూసినపుడు ఏమైనా తేడా ఉంటుందా ?

అలా ఏమీ వుండదు. కానీ రిమేక్ కి వచ్చేసరికి కొంచెం తేడా వుంటుంది. మలయాళం దృశ్యం నీట్ గా స్లోగా వుంటుంది.  తెలుగులో చేసినప్పుడు ఇక్కడ ఆడియన్స్ తగ్గట్టు మన స్టయిల్ లో చేశాం.

కొత్తగా చేస్తున్న సినిమాలు ?

చిరంజీవి గారి గాడ్ ఫాదర్, భోళా శంకర్, సమంత కధానాయికగా యశోద సినిమాలకి చేస్తున్నా.

- 8 ఏళ్ళుగా చేస్తున్న కృషి ఫలించి ఏకంగా సుమగారి సినిమాలో అవకాశం రావడంఅదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నాను. దర్శకుడు కాస్టింగ్ కాల్ ద్వారా నన్ను ఎంపిక చేశారు. దర్శకుడు మా ఊరివాడు కావడంతో మా ఇద్దరి మద్య ఫ్రీక్వెన్సీ బాగుంది. ఇందులో సత్య అనే పూజారి పాత్ర పోషించాను

- విలేజ్లో అల్లరి చిల్లరిగా తిరిగే పూజారి అనిత అనే అమ్మాయి ప్రేమలో పడతాడు. ఆ తర్వాత మా ఇద్దరి ప్రేమకు చిన్న సమస్య వస్తుంది. మరోవైపు జయమ్మకు ఓ సమస్య వుంటుంది. ఆమె సమస్యకూ మా సమస్యకూ లింక్ వుంటుంది. అది సినిమాలో చూడాల్సిందే.

- నాకూ సుమగారికి కొన్ని సన్నివేశాలున్నాయి. ఆమెతో నటించడం అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నాను.

- నేను సోలో హీరోగా చేసినా రాని పబ్లిసిటీ `జయమ్మ.. సినిమాలో చేయడంవల్ల  వచ్చింది. ఇటీవలే కొన్ని ప్రాంతాలు పర్యటించాం. ట్రైలర్ లో నా పాత్ర బాగా పాపులర్ అయింది. అందరూ నన్ను గుర్తుపడుతున్నారు. నటుడికి మంచి బేనర్ దొరకడం కూడా లక్కే.

- నాకు భక్తి ఎక్కువ. మా ఊరిలో కోటదుర్గమ్మని మొక్కుకున్నా. యాదృశ్చికం గా నేను ఏదైతే అనుకున్నానో ఆ పాత్ర దొరకడం, ఆ అమ్మవారి సన్నిధిలోనే షూటింగ్ జరుపుకోవడం చాలా థ్రిల్ కలిగించింది.

- జయమ్మ పంచాయితీ సినిమా నటుడిగా నిరూపించుకునే అవకాశం ఇచ్చింది.

షాలినీ మాట్లాడుతూ, మా అమ్మగారిది మొగల్తూర్, నాన్నది హైదరాబాద్. నేను ఇక్కడే పెరిగాను. అయితే సినిమాలపై ఆసక్తి ఎక్కువ. అందుకే తమిళ షార్ట్ ఫిలిం చేశాను. ఆ తర్వాత కొన్ని రెస్టారెంట్ యాడ్స్ కూడా చేశాను.

- పాండమిక్ టైంలో కొంత గ్యాప్ వచ్చింది. జయమ్మ.. సినిమాకు పనిచేస్తున్న రచయిత నన్ను ఇందులో పాత్రకు ప్రిఫర్ చేశారు. దర్శకుడు ఆడిషన్  ద్వారా ఎంపిక చేశారు.

- బేసిగ్గా నా పాత్ర వేరే ఊరునుంచి శ్రీకాకుళం వస్తుంది కాబట్టి నాకు యాస పలికే అవకాశం పెద్దగా వుండదు. కానీ మిగిలిన పాత్రలన్నీ చక్కగా యాసతో మాట్లాడారు.

- నా పాత్రకూ జయమ్మకు పెద్దగా సన్నివేశాలు వుండవు. కానీ మా లవ్ స్టోరీకి జయమ్మకు వచ్చిన సమస్యకూ లింక్ వుంటుంది. అది సినిమాలో ఆసక్తికరంగా వుంటుంది.

-   శ్రీకాకుళం, ఆముదాలవలస, పాలకొండ, కోటిపల్లి వంటి ప్రాంతాల్లో షూటింగ్ తీశారు. లొకేషన్లు చాలా సుందరంగా  వున్నాయి.

-ఇందులో నా రియల్ లైఫ్కు వ్యతిరేకమైన పాత్ర పోషించాను. పాత్ర అందరూ మెచ్చుకునేలా వుంటుంది. నటిగా నాకు గుర్తింపు వస్తుందనే నమ్ముతున్నాను.. అని చెప్పారు.

TFJA's South India Film Festival awards should set an example: Megastar Chiranjeevi

The members of the Telugu Film Journalists Association were on Thursday given insurance cards at the hands of Megastar Chiranjeevi at an event held in Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. The event was also graced by Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, star director Anil Ravipudi, Ethika Insurance CEO Rajendra, TFJA President V Lakshminarayana, General Secretary YJ Rambabu, Treasurer Naidu Surendra Kumar and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Megastar Chiranjeevi said, "Journalists are like my relatives. When I was doing 'Pranam Khareedu' early on in my career, I was waiting for someone to write about me. When I read an article written by Pasupaleti Ramarao garu mentioning me, I was overjoyed. I offered him a couple of hundred rupees as a gift. He refused to take the money and told me that it is his responsibility to encourage artists like me. The incident increased my respect for journalists. I also respect frank and forthright journalists like Gudipudi Srihari, VSR Anjaneyulu, Nandagopal and others. During the pandemic, besides members of the 24 crafts belonging to the film industry, journalist friends were also given the supply of essentials through CCC.  A benefit of Rs 1 lakh will be given to TFJA per film under the aegis of Talasani Srinivas garu. I will always be there for the Association in the future. Ever since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, state cine awards haven't been there. In this context, the initiative by the TFJA to hold South Indian Film Festival in November is appreciable. I will extend my support for it."

Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said, "Film journalists are apolitical. They are disciplined. Chiranjeevi garu has been supportive during the pandemic. Hundreds of needy people have received a free supply of groceries under my aegis as well. I feel TFJA should be given Rs 1 lakh per film. I am going to donate Rs 5 lakh in this regard. Dil Raju, Anil Ravipudi and producer Radhakrishna are supporting the Association already. The KCR government, too, has been lending a helping hand in a number of ways. The film industry has been given benefits like single window approvals, an extra show per day and ticket price hikes. Arogya Sri benefits have been extended. Film journalists will also be included in it. The concerned department will be working on the issue."

Director Anil Ravipudi said, "Any telling of history starts with journalists writing down something. That's why they are respected. Health card is of great use for them. I appreciate the leadership of TFJA for this concerted action. Chiranjeevi garu has been the film industry's strength. His backing gives journalists a lot of support. I wish 'Acharya' a great success."

Ethika Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd. CEO Rajendra said, "The initiative to provide health insurance facility for journalists started four years ago. We have tried our best. We wish everyone good health and well-being. We will always be there when the members need our support."

President V Lakshminarayana explained the services offered by TFJA for journalists and families.

Treasurer Naidu Surendra Kumar said, "In total, 110 individuals are eligible for medical insurance benefits this year. Everyone has the assurance that Rs 3 lakh insurance can be availed of. The family of a member who passed away recently was given Rs 15 lakh. We want everyone to be happy."

General Secretary YJ Rambabu said, "During the Covid-19 pandemic, director Anil Ravipudi garu helped the association voluntarily. Minister Talasani garu is urged to extend a helping hand from the government side in case of any need. We thank Chiranjeevi garu for being there for journalists during the pandemic."

 Satya Dev On Board For a Vital And Full-Length Role In Megastar Chiranjeevi - Mohan Raja - Konidela Productions And Super Good Films – Godfather

Megastar Chiranjeevi's 153rd film Godfather being directed by Mohan Raja and produced on grand scale scale by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films is in last leg of shooting. The film has many specials. It marks Tollywood debut of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Nayanthara is playing an important role, while Puri Jagannadh will be seen in a cameo.

Interim, Chiranjeevi made a revelation of Satya Dev essaying a vital and full-length role in Godfather. Expressing his gladness of sharing screen space with his demigod megastar Chiranjeevi in Acharya, Satya Dev tweeted, “అన్నయ్యా, నటనలో జీవితంలో మాలాంటి ఎందరికో ఆచార్య మీరు. అభిమానిగా గుండెల్లో చిరకాలం తలిచేది మీ పేరునే. మిమ్మల్ని చూసే నటుడిగా మారాను. ఈరోజు ఆచార్య సినిమాలో కాసేపైనా మీతోపాటూ కనిపించే అదృష్టం కలిగింది.మీ కష్టం, క్రమశిక్షణ దగ్గర నుంచి చూసి నేర్చుకునే అవకాశం దక్కింది. @KChiruTweets .”

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s much awaited movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata is already making enough noise. To raise the expectations bar further high, the team is readying a pakka mass and action-packed trailer. The date for the trailer has also been locked. It will be out on May 2nd.

Director Parasuram is presenting Mahesh Babu in a never seen before mass role. In fact, Mahesh Babu underwent a stylish makeover for the movie, though his role has different shades. Music sensation S Thaman is presently busy scoring BGM for the trailer. The poster presents Mahesh Babu in an action avatar. He is about to take on the batch of rowdies with the huge set of keys.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata will have regular updates. The team is also planning to release mass song of the movie canned on Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh soon. The three songs- Kalaavathi, Penny and title track turned out to be chartbusters. The to-be-released fourth number is going to be mass song of the year.

Young and energetic hero Kiran Abbavaram will be seen in yet another different role in his next outing “Sammathame”. Tipped to be a musical romantic entertainer, the film directed by Gopinath Reddy features Chandini Chowdary playing the leading lady.
