Lyca Productions unveils gripping, slick teaser for Arun Vijay’s 'Mission: Chapter 1'

The film will be released worldwide in four languages

Lyca Productions' Subaskaran is ready with a prestigious action drama film to be released in multiple languages. Kollywood hero Arun Vijay’s 'Mission: Chapter 1', produced on a lavish scale by M Rajashekar and S Swathi, will be presented by Lyca Productions. The film's slick and gripping teaser was released today.

The teaser, which effectively brings out the rich production values and tension in the story, begins with the mention of Wandsworth prison in London. Shots of the prison are shown with an unseen character saying that prisoners from all over the world are holed up there. Amy Jackson is introduced as a prison guard who knows how to tame those who go rogue. Tension is built gradually when charging and sealing are declared to smother rogue elements inside the prison.

Arun Vijay makes a dashing entry at this. He looks aggressive and angry, performing daredevil stunts in a dramatic turn of events at the prison. Amy's character is seen asking if he is a smuggler, a gangster, or a terrorist. Towards the fag end of the teaser, the emotional core of the movie is introduced when the protagonist's kid daughter and her tender affection for her father are introduced. The daughter needs a head surgery, while the father is also on treatment.

Lyca Productions is undoubtedly delivering solid content. The film is directed by the talented filmmaker Vijay, whose is known for variety, craft and a thorough understanding of popular tastes. He shot 'Mission: Chapter 1' in just 70 working days across locations in Chennai and London.

The action sequences are mounted spectacularly. The cinematography and the production design (the prison is a meticulously designed set) are top-notch.

Pawan Kalyan has joined hands with blockbuster director Harish Shankar again for an action entertainer Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which was launched amidst pomp and fanfare recently. The much-anticipated film is bankrolled by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under Mythri Movie Makers. The film officially went on floors today.

The first schedule of the film will progress at a specially erected police station set over a week featuring Pawan Kalyan and other lead actors. Cinematographer Ayananka Bose, production designer Anand Sai and director Harish Shankar extensively worked on the pre-production of the shoot and they’re confident of surpassing viewer’s expectations with an entertaining film.

Several big names have been finalised for Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s cast. Telugu cinema’s most happening heroine Sreeleela is on board as the heroine while Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, KGF fame Avinash, Gauthami, Narra Srinu, Naga Mahesh and  Temper Vamsi essay supporting roles

The film beyond cinematographer Ayananka Bose and art director Anand Sai, comprises a top-notch technical team, including editor Chota K Prasad. Noted music director behind hits like Jalsa, Gabbar Singh, Attarintiki Daredi, Pushpa and Rangasthalam, Devi Sri Prasad, is the composer.

Stunt director duo Ram-Lakshman choreograph the action sequences. Leading production house Mythri Movie Makers, which backed hits like Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy this year, looks set to continue their victorious run with this ambitious project.

Young hero Thiruveer who is riding high with the success of his last film Masooda will be seen in a complete contrasting role in his next outing Pareshan, a hilarious entertainer. Directed by Rupak Ronaldson and produced by Siddharth Rallapalli under the banner of Waltair productions, the film’s entire shoot has been completed and it is getting ready for release.

Handsome hunk Rana Daggubati comes on board to present the movie on Suresh Productions banner. Rana's backing is a big boon for the movie. They unveiled a fun video to make the announcement. Team Pareshan is seen fighting for a samosa. They recently kick-started the promotions by releasing the teaser of the movie which got a superb response.

The film's story is set in a village in Telangana where a group of friends enter chaotic situations in their lives triggered by silly events and leading to a lot of complications, as revealed through the teaser. Pavani Karnan played the leading lady in the movie. 

Cinematography for the movie is by Vasu Pendam, while music is by Yashwanth Nag of chowrasta band. Harishankar is the editor of the movie which is currently in post-production stages. The makers will soon announce the film's release date.

థ్రిల్లర్ జోనర్స్ చూసినప్పుడు షాకింగ్.. వావ్.. ఫ్యాక్టర్స్ వుంటాయి. అవి ముందే ఆడియన్స్ కి తెలిసిపోయినపుడు ఆ కిక్కు రాదు. అందుకే కథ గురించి బయటికి చెప్పలేదు. 

భారీ తారాగణం కనిపిస్తోంది.. మీరు అనుకున్న బడ్జెట్ లో పూర్తి చేశారా ? 

అనుకున్న బడ్జెట్ లోనే పూర్తి చేశాం. సుధీర్ వర్మ టెక్నికల్ గా చాలా స్ట్రాంగ్. అనుకున్న  సమయంలో అనుకున్న బడ్జెట్ కి పూర్తి చేశారు. 

రవితేజ గారికి ఈ సినిమా ఎలా ఉండబోతుంది ? 

ప్రేక్షకులు థ్రిల్ అయిపోయి షాక్ లో వుంటారు. రవితేజ గారిని ఇంత కొత్త కోణంలో చూసే సరికి అదిరిపోయింది కదా అనే ఫ్యాక్టర్ వస్తుంది. ఇంటర్వెల్ ఎక్స్ టార్డినరీగా వుంటుంది. ప్రేక్షకులకు కొత్త ఎక్స్ పీరియన్స్ ఇస్తుంది.

సుశాంత్ పాత్ర గురించి ? 

ఒక ఇన్నోసెంట్ ఫేస్ తో ఫ్రెష్ గా ఉండాలని సుశాంత్ ని అనుకున్నాం. ఇందులో సుశాంత్ ని చాలా కొత్తగా చూస్తారు.

నేను ఫైన్ ఆర్ట్స్ నేపధ్యం నుంచి వచ్చాను. మంచి సినిమాలు చేయాలనే ఆసక్తి వుంటుంది. కాన్సెప్ట్ సినిమాలు చేయడం ఇష్టం. 

అభిషేక్ పిక్చర్స్ సినిమాలు పాన్ ఇండియా రిలీజ్ అవుతుంటాయి కదా.. రావణాసుర ఎందుకు చేయలేదు ? 

ఇక్కడ విడుదలైన తర్వాత ఇదే సబ్జెక్ట్ తో పాన్ ఇండియా ప్లాన్ చేయాలనే ఆలోచన వుంది.

మీరు-సుధీర్ వర్మ గారు చేసిన కేశవ ఓకే అనిపించింది..మరి రావణాసుర ఎలా వుంటుంది ? 

నిర్మాతగా నాకు ‘కేశవ’ కమర్షియల్ గా వర్క్ అవుట్ అయ్యింది. అయితే బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ మిస్ అయ్యింది. రావణాసురతో బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ వంద శాతం కొడతాం. 

‘రావణాసుర’ మ్యూజిక్ హిట్ అయ్యింది.. హర్షవర్ధన్ రామేశ్వర్ ని తీసుకోవడానికి కారణం?

హర్షవర్ధన్ రామేశ్వర్ కుటుంబం అంతా సంగీతకారులు. తనకి చాలా ప్రతిభ వుంది. మొదట ‘సాక్ష్యం’ సినిమా ఇచ్చాను. తర్వాత రవితేజ గారికి చెప్పాను. రావణాసురతో తన ప్రతిభని మరోసారి నిరూపించుకున్నాడు. 

రావణాసుర కి సీక్వెల్ వుంటుందా ? 

ప్రేక్షకులు గొప్పగా ఆదరిస్తే సీక్వెల్ చేస్తాం. రావణాసుర కథకి ఆ అవకాశం వుంది. 

రవితేజ గారు 100కోట్ల మార్క్ ని అందుకున్న తర్వాత వస్తున్న రావణాసుర పై మీకు ఎలాంటి అంచనాలు వున్నాయి ? 

రవితేజ గారు ఎన్నో అద్భుతమైన విజయాలు సాధించారు. నేనేం ఫీలౌతానంటే..  ఒక ఆర్టిస్ట్ కొత్తగా చేసిన పాత్రని ప్రేక్షకులు గొప్పగా ఆదరిస్తే..దానికి మించిన సక్సెస్ ఏమీ వుండదు. కాంతార లాంటి సినిమా చూసినపుడు మనం వావ్ అంటాం. అయితే ఇక్కడ చేయాలంటే మాత్రం వర్క్ అవుట్ అవుతుందా లేదా అని ఆలోచిస్తాం. కానీ రావణాసురతో రవితేజ అవన్నీ బ్రేక్ చేసేశారు.

Arjun Jandyala of Guna 369 fame is directing the movie for which the story was provided by creative director Prasanth Varma. Somineni Balakrishna, an NRI (Film distributor) is producing the movie as Production No 1 of Lalithambika Productions. K Sagar is the co-producer and Nallapaneni Yamini presents it.

The makers wishing Ashok Galla on his birthday have released a small glimpse that presents the young hero in an action-packed avatar. He looked rugged in the video from an action sequence and is seen twisting his mustache towards the end. We can see Boyapati’s mark in the action sequence since director Arjun Jandyala was the protégé of the mass director.

The movie has top technicians working on the film. Popular composer Bheems Ceciroleo who gave blockbuster music for the recent DHAMAKA is giving the music, while Prasad Murella is the cinematographer and Tammiraju is the editor. She attended the first session of the flagship rural women’s leadership program in Chakaliguda village of telangana and conducted a session on reproductive health and menstrual hygiene with renowned Gynaecologist Dr. Prajwala Addagatla. 

Democratic Sangha is a people’s collective founded by Novice Monk Brahmachari Chaitanya to nurture democracy and forge a new social contract. 

The flagship Rural Women's Leadership Program works to build leadership of women at the grassroots. It empowers women to become advocates of development and change in the village. The program is a capacity building platform in 12 key areas for women at the grassroots. It is a one year program and the rural women are trained in one module each for 12 Months.

The modules which range from menstrual health to waste management, have both theoretical and practical exercises and are developed by key industry experts. The dream run of Natural Star Nani’s mass action entertainer Dasara continues even in working days. The film directed by Srikanth Odela passed the crucial Monday test and collected a gross of 5 Cr on its first week day. In its five days run, Dasara grossed a whopping 92 crore. Mostly, the movie will enter the coveted 100 cr in a couple of days.

Dasara has breached a mammoth $1.7 Million in the USA. It is already the biggest earner for Nani in the region. Interestingly, the movie is good in the north belt as well.

While Dasara is raking huge numbers in the Nizam region, the numbers are equally good in Andhra Pradesh as well. The film that has repeat value will have a long run at the box office. Moreover, it's a holiday tomorrow.

 Mythri Movie Makers Presents, Kiran Abbavaram, Ramesh Kaduri, Clap Entertainment’s Meter Title Song is out now

Kiran Abbanavarm’s mass action entertainer Meter presented by Tollywood’s leading production house Mythri Movie Makers and produced by Clap Entertainment is set for release on 7th of this month. The team is promoting the movie vigorously and the promotional material too generated interest.

The makers today unveiled the title song of the movie. Sai Kartheek scored a highly energetic number with some fast beats. Kiran Abbavaram is shown as an encounter specialist in the song. His rage is rightly portrayed by lyricist Balaji. Besides scoring the song, Sai Kartheek also sang it energetically. Kiran looked dynamic as a tough cop.

Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Pedamallu are producing the film, wherein Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili of Mythri Movie Makers are presenting it. 

Venkat C Dileep is the cinematographer, while JV is the Art Director. Alekhya is the Line Producer, while Baba Sai is the Executive Producer. Bal Subramaniam KVV is the Chief Executive Producer for the film which is the most expensive film in Kiran’s career.

ఇంతకుముందు మీరు కొంచెం ప్రయోగాత్మక చిత్రాలు చేశారు కదా ?

అవునండీ. గోపీచంద్ గారితో ఒక్కడున్నాడు చేశాం. ఇది ప్రయోగాత్మక చిత్రం. మత్తు వదలరా, హ్యాపీ బర్త్ డే చిత్రాలు కూడా ప్రయోగాత్మక చిత్రాలే. తొలిసారి కమర్షియల్ ఎంటర్ టైనర్ ఫార్మెట్ లో కి వెళితే బావుటుందని ‘మీటర్’ చేశాం. కమర్షియల్ ఎంటర్ టైనర్ అంటే సాంగ్స్ ఫైట్స్ కామెడీ అన్నీ ఉన్నప్పటికీ బలమైన కథ వుండాలి. అలాంటి బలమైన కథ మీటర్ కి కుదిరింది. రమేష్ చాలా మంచి కథతో వచ్చాడు. కంటెంట్ పరంగా మీటర్ చాలా స్ట్రాంగ్ వుంటుంది. మంచి కథని ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా చెప్పొచ్చు.. కమర్షియల్ గా కూడా ప్రజంట్ చేయొచ్చు. దర్శకుడు రమేష్.. బాబీ, గోపీచంద్ మలినేని దగ్గర పని చేశాడు కాబట్టి ఆ స్టయిల్, కమర్షియల్ ఎంటర్ టైనర్ గా వుంటుంది.

దర్శకుడు ఈ కథ చేసుకొని వచ్చినపుడు పెద్ద హీరోతో చేద్దామని అనుకున్నారు. కొంతమంది దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళడం జరిగింది. డేట్స్ ని బట్టి చూద్దామని అనడం కూడా జరిగింది. ఈలోగా కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం ఎస్ఆర్ కల్యాణ మండపం విడుదలైయింది. ఆయనకి చెబితే ఓకే అన్నారు. 

టీజర్ ట్రైలర్ చూసినప్పుడు పెద్ద హీరోతో చేసే కథ అనిపించిందా ? 

ఖచ్చితంగా ఇది పెద్ద హీరోతో చేసే కథే. అయితే రమేష్ కి పెద్ద హీరోతో కుదరలేదు. 

కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం ఎలా చేశారు ? 

ఏ పాత్రనైనా చేసే యీజ్ వున్న నటుడు కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం. ఇప్పటికే చాలా సినిమాలు చేశారు. ఈ పాత్ర కూడా ఆయనకి సరిగ్గా నప్పింది. మేనరిజం, ఎనర్జీ, స్టయిల్.. ఇలా దర్శకుడు ఏం అనుకున్నాడో దాన్ని కిరణ్ అద్భుతంగా చేశాడు.

మీ గత చిత్రాలకు దీనికి ఎలాంటి తేడా గమనించారు ? 

ఏ సినిమా అయినా బావుండాలనే తీస్తాం. మీటర్ కూడా మంచి సినిమా కాబట్టే చేశాం. ప్రయోగాత్మక చిత్రాలకు మంచి పేరు రావచ్చు కానీ బాక్సఫీసు దగ్గర కొంచెం తేడా కనిపిస్తుంది. ఇలాంటి సినిమాలకు మాత్రం సినిమా బావుంది అంటే మాత్రం బాక్సాఫీసు రెవెన్యూ బెటర్ గా వుండే అవకాశం వుంటుంది. 

మీటర్ కి అనుకున్న బడ్జెట్ కంటే ఎక్కువైయిందని విన్నాం ?

ఏదైనా సబ్జెక్ట్ , దాన్ని తీయడం బట్టి వుంటుంది. ఉదాహరణకు చమ్మక్ చమ్మక్ పోరి పాట వుంది. అది మామూలుగా కూడా తీయొచ్చు.  అయితే పాట బావొచ్చింది. దాన్ని గ్రాండ్ గా తీయాలని పెద్ద సెట్ వేశాం. మేము ఎప్పుడు ఖర్చుకి  వెనకడుగువేయలేదు. ఎక్కడ అవసరమో అక్కడ పెట్టడానికి రెడీగా వుంటాం. ‘ముత్తువదలరా’ కోటిన్నర లో చేయాల్సిన సినిమా. కానీ రెండున్నర కోట్లు అయ్యింది. హ్యాపీ బర్త్ డే ఏడు కోట్లలో తీయాలని అనుకున్నాం. ఎనిమిదిన్నర కోట్లు అయ్యింది. మీటర్ కూడా మేము అనుకున్న దాని కంటే కొంచెం ఎక్కువైయింది. అవసరంకి తగ్గట్టే ఖర్చు చేశాం. కిరణ్ కెరీర్ లో హయ్యస్ట్ బడ్జెట్ మూవీ మీటర్. 

మైత్రీ మూవీ మేకర్స్ లో చేస్తూనే మీరు ప్రొడక్షన్ చేయడానికి కారణం ?

నేను 31 ఏళ్లుగా ఇండస్ట్రీలో వున్నాను. మనీ, మనీమనీ, గులాబీ, రంగీలా చిత్రాలకు పని చేశాను. తర్వాత యమదొంగ, ఒకడున్నాడు చేసి మళ్ళీ నా వ్యాపార అవకాశాలు కోసం పని చేయడం జరిగింది. మళ్ళీ సినిమాలు చేద్దామని ఇటు వచ్చేసరికి మైత్రీ మూవీ మేకర్స్ వచ్చారు. అక్కడ సిఈవో గా జాయిన్ అయ్యాను. జాయిన్ అయినపుడే నా సినిమాలు చిన్నచిన్నవి వస్తే చేసుకుంటానని ముందే చెప్పాను. దానికి వారు సపోర్ట్ చేస్తానని చెప్పారు. వారితో కలసి పని చేయడం నాకొక అడ్వాంటేజ్. 

ఈ ముఫ్ఫై ఏళ్లతో ఇండస్ట్రీలో గమనించిన విషయాలు ? 

టెక్నాలజీ చాలా అభివృద్ధి చెందింది. చాలా అప్ గ్రేడ్స్ జరిగాయి. క్యాలిటీ పెరిగింది. మనం కూడా హాలీవుడ్ స్థాయిలో సినిమాలు చూపించగలుగుతున్నాం. ఇంటర్నేషనల్ లెవల్ లో మన మార్క్ చూపించగలిగాం.

కోవిడ్ తర్వాత ప్రేక్షులు ఆలోచనలో ఎలాంటి మార్పులు వచ్చాయి ? ఓటీటీ రాకతో థియేటర్స్ పై ప్రభావం పడిందా ? 

శాటిలైట్ వచ్చినపుడు కూడా థియేటర్స్ కి జనం రావడం తగ్గిపోతుందని అన్నారు. ఇప్పుడు ఓటీటీ గురించి కూడా అదే మాట వినిపిస్తుంది. సినిమా అన్ని ఫ్లాట్ ఫార్మ్స్ పై వుంటుంది. అయితే ఇప్పుడు థియేటర్ కాస్త ఖర్చుతో కూడుకున్నది కావడం వలన కాస్త ప్రభావం వుంటుంది. అయితే సినిమా బావుంది అంటే మాత్రం వెళ్తారు. 

ఇక పెద్ద హీరోల సినిమాలు మాత్రం ఖచ్చితంగా థియేటర్స్ లో చూడటానికే ఇష్టపడతారు. మొన్న వీరసింహారెడ్డి, వాల్తేరు వీరయ్య సినిమాలు విడుదల చేశాం. రెండు పెద్ద బ్లాక్ బస్టర్స్ అయ్యాయి. రెండిటికీ మంచి కలెక్షన్స్ వచ్చాయి. దీని అర్ధం.. సినిమా బావుంటే ఖచ్చితంగా ప్రేక్షకులు థియేటర్ కి వచ్చి చూస్తారు.

చిన్న సినిమాలకు స్కోప్ లేదనే  సమయంలో బలగం, రైటర్ పద్మభూషణ్ చిత్రాలు విజయాలు సాధించాయి.ఈ దిశలో ఏదైనా ఆలోచిస్తున్నారా ? 

చిన్న సినిమాలకు స్కోప్ లేదని నేనెప్పుడు అనుకోలేదు. అనుకోనుకూడా. ఎవరైనా చిన్న సబ్జెక్ట్ చెబితే బావుంటే తప్పకుండా ప్రయోగం చేయడానికి రెడీగా వుంటాను. ఇప్పుడు ఇండస్ట్రీలో చాలా మంచి ప్రతిభ బావుంది. చాలా మంచి కథలతో వస్తున్నారు.

మీ కొత్త ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ ?

‘రావణాసుర’ సూపర్ ఎక్సయిటెడ్ గా వుంటుంది. సినిమాలో థ్రిల్స్, షాకింగ్ ఎలిమెంట్స్ ప్రధాన ఆకర్షణగా వుంటాయి. అందులో ఏది రివిల్ చేసినా సినిమా చూసినప్పుడు ఆ థ్రిల్ వుండదు. ప్రేక్షకుడికి థ్రిల్లింగ్ అనుభూతిని ఇవ్వడానికే దానిని హోల్డ్ చేస్తున్నాం. 

 

రవితేజ గారితో థ్రిల్లర్ జోనర్ సినిమా చేయాలని ఆలోచన ఎలా వచ్చింది ?

రవితేజ గారికి ఫలానా జోనర్ సినిమా చేయాలని ముందుగా ఏమీ అనుకోలేదు. అయితే శ్రీకాంత్ కథ చెప్పిన్నపుడు రవితేజ గారికి నచ్చి, నేనైతే బావుంటుదని నా దగ్గరికి పంపించారు. కథ విన్నప్పుడు నాకు ఎక్సయిటింగా అనిపించింది. ఇలాంటి థ్రిల్లర్ ని ఓ పెద్ద హీరో చేయడం ఇంకా ఎక్సయిటెడ్ గా అనిపించింది. రావణాసుర వంద శాతం కొత్త జోనర్ మూవీ. ఇలాంటి కథ ఇప్పటివరకూ తెలుగులో రాలేదు. సినిమాపై చాలా నమ్మకంగా వున్నాం.

 

స్టయిలీష్ మేకర్ గా మీకు మంచి పేరుంది.  రవితేజ గారు మిమ్మల్ని ఎంపిక చేయడానికి కారణం కూడా అదే అనుకోవచ్చా ?

ఒక కథని ఎలా తీయాలనేది.. డైరెక్టర్ టేక్. స్టయిలీష్ గా వున్న సినిమాలు మాస్ గా కూడా తీయొచ్చు. నా వరకూ ఇది మాస్ గా తీయాలి, ఇది స్టయిలీష్ గా తీయాలని ఏమీ వుండదు. కథని బట్టి టేక్ వుంటుంది.

 

తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో ఒక హ్యాపీ ఎండింగ్, హీరో పాజిటివ్ షెడ్ వుంటుంది కదా.. కానీ ఇందులో మీరు ఫ్లిప్ చేసినట్లుగా వున్నారు?

మీరు మళ్ళీ కథలోకి వెళ్తున్నారు. (నవ్వుతూ) మీరు అన్నట్టుగా ఆ ఫ్లిప్ ఏమిటనేది మీరు వంద శాతం తృప్తి పడతారు. సినిమా చూసిన తర్వాత మన సెన్సిబిలిటీస్ మిస్ అయిన ఫీలింగ్ మీకు రాదని నా నమ్మకం.

 

పుష్ప, కేజీఎఫ్.. ఇలా గత రెండేళ్ళుగా హీరోలని గ్రే షేడ్స్ లో చూపించడం ట్రెండ్ గా మారింది కదా ?

గ్రే షేడ్స్ అనేది చాలా కాలంగా వుంది. అంతంలో నాగార్జున, సత్యలో జేడీ ఇవన్నీ గ్రేనే కదా. ఇవి ఎప్పటి నుంచో వున్నాయి. అయితే ఈ మద్య అవి ఎక్కువగా పెరిగాయి.

 

ఇందులో చాలా మంది నటీనటులు వున్నారు కదా.. ప్యాడింగ్ బరువైనట్లు అనిపించలేదా ?

కథలో ఇంతమంది వున్నారు .. ఏం చేస్తారు ? అనే క్యురియాసిటీనే కావాలి . చూసినపుడు మీకు అర్ధమౌతుంది. ప్రతి పాత్ర కీలకంగా కథలో భాగంగా వుంటుంది.  సర్ ప్రైజ్, షాక్, థ్రిల్లు ఈ మూడు ఎలిమెంట్స్ తో అలరించే చిత్రమిది.

 

రావణాసుర పాత్ర మణిరత్నం గారి రావణ్ ని గుర్తు చేస్తుంది ?

మణిరత్నం గారు ఎగ్జాట్ గా రామాయణం తీశారు. అయితే ఇందులో నా హీరో పాత్రకి రావణాసుర  పేరు సరిగ్గా నప్పుతుంది. అలా అని నేను రామాయణంలోకి వెళ్ళలేదు. అయితే రావణాసుర అనే పేరు పెట్టిన తర్వాత దానికి తగ్గట్టు కొన్ని డైలాగులు యాప్ట్ అయ్యాయి, కొన్ని వాడుకున్నాం తప్ప రామాయణంతో సంబంధం లేదు.

 

రావణాసుర కి సీక్వెల్ ఛాన్స్ ఉందా ?

ఈ కథకి ఒక ముగింపు వుంటుంది. అయితే సీక్వెల్ చేయాలని అనుకున్నపుడు ఇక్కడి నుంచి ముందుకు వెళ్ళే అవకాశం కూడా వుంది.

 

వేరే రచయిత కథని డైరెక్ట్ చేయడం ఎలా వుంటుంది ?

ఖచ్చితంగా ఒక సవాల్ వుంటుంది. నా కథ అయితే నా విజువల్ సెన్సిబిలిటీకి తగట్టు రాసుకుంటాను. ఏదైనా మార్పు చేయడం కూడా సులువుగా వుంటుంది. వేరే కథలో మార్పు చేసినప్పుడు ఆ మార్పు మిగతా ఏరియాల్లో ఎంత ఎఫెక్ట్ చూపిస్తుందనేది రచయితతో కూర్చుని క్రాస్ చెక్ చేసుకోవాలి.

రవితేజ గారి పెర్ఫార్మన్స్ గురించి మనందరికీ తెలుసు. నా విజన్ కి బెటర్ గానే ఆయన పెర్ఫార్మన్స్ చేస్తారు. ఇది కంప్లీట్ రవితేజ గారి సినిమా. పెర్ఫార్మన్స్ వారిగా ఆయన సినిమాల్లో టాప్ 3 లో వుంటుంది.

 

మీరు ఎక్కువగా థ్రిల్లర్స్ చేయడానికి కారణం ?

నాకు క్రైమ్ జోనర్ మీద సినిమా రన్ చేయడం ఇష్టం. నాకు హోల్డింగ్ పాయింట్ కావాలి. తర్వాత ఏం జరుగుతుందని ఆడియన్ ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురుచూసేలా చేయడం నాకు బాగా ఇష్టం.

 

రవితేజ గారు ధమాకా, వాల్తేరు వీరయ్య వరుస విజయాలతో వున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు రావణాసుర వస్తోంది. ఈ విషయంలో మీపై ఒత్తిడి ఉందా ?

నా సినిమా ఎప్పుడు వచ్చినా హిట్ ఇవ్వాలనే టెన్షన్ వుంటుంది. 

 

రావణాసుర మ్యూజిక్ సూపర్ హిట్ అయ్యింది. ఇద్దరు మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్స్ గురించి ?

సినిమా ప్రారంభంలోనే హర్షవర్ధన్ తో నేపధ్యం సంగీతం, భీమ్స్ తో పాటలు చేయించాలని అనుకున్నాం. హర్ష రావణాసుర టైటిల్ సాంగ్ చేశాడు. చాలా బాగా వచ్చింది. తర్వాత రిమిక్స్ పాట కూడా బాగా చేశాడు. భీమ్స్ డిక్కా డిష్యు పాట చేశారు.

 

అభిషేక్ గారితో పని చేయడం గురించి ?

అభిషేక్ గారితో నాకు ఇది రెండో సినిమా. నేను ఉన్నంత వరకూ ఆయన అన్ని వదిలేస్తారు. ‘’సుధీర్ ఏం అడిగితే అది ఇచ్చేయండి’’ అని చెప్తారు.

 

థ్రిల్లర్స్ కి యునివర్షల్ రీచ్ వుంటుంది కదా.. రావణాసురని అన్ని భాషల్లో విడుదల చేయాలనే ఆలోచన రాలేదా ?

అన్ని సినిమాలు ఒకేలా చేస్తున్నారని అంటారు. కొత్తగా చేస్తే ఎందుకు ఇలాంటి రిస్క్ అని మీరే అంటారు (నవ్వుతూ). ఇది రిస్కే. అయితే ఎప్పుడైతే కథ విన్న తర్వాత ఒక ఎక్సయిట్ మెంట్ వచ్చిందో ఆడియన్స్ కి కూడా ఆ ఎక్సయిట్మెంట్ ని ఇవ్వాలని అనుకున్నాం.

 వేణు నిన్న ఒక వీడియో పంపాడు. అందులో అన్న‌ద‌మ్ములు ఈ సినిమా చూసి ఊరి స‌ర్పంచు ముందు క‌లిసిపోయారు. అలాగే ఓ కుటుంబంలో విడిపోయిన వారంద‌రూ క‌లిసి బ‌ల‌గం సినిమాను చూశారు. బుధ‌వారం (ఏప్రిల్ 5)కి నిర్మాత‌గా నేను జ‌ర్నీ స్టార్ట్ చేసి 20 ఏళ్లు అవుతుంది. ఇన్నేళ్ల‌లో బొమ్మ‌రిల్లు స‌మ‌యంలో నాకొక అనుభూతి. ఆ సినిమా చూసిన త‌ర్వాత చాలా మంది పేరెంట్స్‌లో మార్పు వ‌చ్చింది. 

 బ‌లగం సినిమా గురించి వేణు చెప్పిన‌ప్పుడు ఇదొక మంచి ప్ర‌య‌త్న‌మ‌ని చేశాం. ఈరోజు అదే సినిమా ద్వారా కుటుంబాల్లో క‌ల‌యిక వ‌చ్చి క‌లుస్తున్నారు. ముందుగా వేణుకి థాంక్యూ. తెలుగు సినిమా చరిత్ర‌లో బ‌ల‌గంకు ఓ పేజీ ఉంటుంది. ప‌ల్లెటూళ్ల‌లో బ‌లగం సినిమా షో ఉంటుంద‌ని ఇన్వెటేష‌న్ రెడీ చేసుకుని మ‌రీ చూస్తున్నారు. ఇలాంటి మూమెంట్ మ‌ళ్లీ ఎప్పుడు చూస్తామో తెలియ‌దు. ఇక థియేట‌ర్స్‌లో 5 వారాలైన‌ప్పటికీ ఇంకా షేర్ క‌లెక్ష‌న్స్ రావ‌టం గొప్ప విష‌యం. 

 హర్షిత్‌, హ‌న్షిత‌లు బ‌ల‌గం సినిమాను రిలీజ్ చేయ‌టాని కంటే ముందే ఇంట‌ర్నేష‌న‌ల్ అవార్డుల‌కు పంపారు. 7 ఇంట‌ర్నేష‌న‌ల్ అవార్డ్స్ వ‌చ్చాయి. అందులో రెండు అవార్డులు డైరెక్ట‌ర్ వేణుకి, ఒక‌టి హీరోకి, ఒకటి హీరోయిన్‌కి ఇలా అవార్డులు వ‌చ్చాయి. 20 ఏళ్ల‌లో 50 సినిమాలు చేశాను. ఇన్నేళ్లో ఏ సినిమాకు ఇంట‌ర్నేష‌న‌ల్ అవార్డ్ రాలేదు. ఫ‌స్ట్ టైమ్ వ‌స్తుంది. మా పిల్ల‌లు ఇంట‌ర్నేష‌న‌ల్‌కి వెళ్లారు. ఇప్పుడు వాళ్ల రెస్పాన్సిబిలిటీ మ‌రింత పెరిగింది. 

 మొన్న మోహ‌న్‌బాబుగారు ఫోన్ చేసి ఏం సినిమా తీశార‌య్యా అని అప్రిషియేట్ చేశారు. హ‌ర్షిత్, హ‌న్షిత‌లు వెళ్లి ఆయ‌న్ని క‌లిసొచ్చారు. సినిమా ఇండ‌స్ట్రీతో పాటు అటు రాజ‌కీయ నాయ‌కులు సైతం మా బ‌ల‌గం సినిమాను అభినందిస్తున్నారు. శాటిస్ఫాక్ష‌న్‌తో పాటు బాధ్య‌త పెరిగింది. వేణు, ద‌ర్శి అండ్ టీమ్‌కు థాంక్స్‌. క‌ష్ట‌ప‌డి ఇష్ట‌ప‌టి చేశారు కాబ‌ట్టి ఓ అద్భుతం జ‌రిగింది. ఇలాంటి అద్భ‌తం చేస్తామో చూడాలి. ఇప్ప‌టికే అన్వేషణ స్టార్ట్ అయ్యింది. 

 ప‌ల్లెటూళ్ల‌లో మేమేదో షోను ఆపుతున్నామంటూ వార్త‌లు వ‌స్తున్నాయి. జనాలు ఎలాగైనా మంచి సినిమాను చూడాల‌నే బ‌ల‌గంను రూపొంచాం. మంచి సినిమా చేశామ‌ని అనుకున్నాం కానీ.. గొప్ప సినిమా చేశామ‌ని ఇప్పుడే తెలిసింది. మా ద్వారా కుటుంబాలు క‌లిసి పోతున్నాయి. సోసైటీ మార్పు వ‌స్తుందంటే అంత కంటే గొప్ప ఏముంది. మా జ‌న్మ ధ‌న్య‌మైంది. కానీ మేం ఏదో లీగ‌ల్‌గా సినిమాను ఆపేస్తామ‌ని వార్త‌లు వ‌స్తున్నాయి. నిజానికి నిర్మాత‌గా ఈ సినిమా హ‌క్కుల‌ను నేను ఓటీటీ వాళ్ల‌కి ఇచ్చాం. ఇప్పుడు వాళ్ల సైడ్ నుంచి మాకు ప్రెష‌ర్ వ‌చ్చింది. వాళ్లు మెయిల్ పెట్టారు. దాని కోసం మా లీగ‌ల్ టీమ్ ఏదో చేసింది కానీ.. ఇది ఆగ‌దు. నేను చెప్పేది ఒక్క‌టే ఈ సినిమా ఎక్క‌డా ఆగ‌దు. ఓపెన్‌గా ఎక్క‌డ ఎలా చూడాల‌నుకుంటే అలా చూడండి. ఎక్క‌డైనా సినిమా చూడాల‌నుకుంటే మేం కాంటాక్ట్ నెంబ‌ర్ ఇస్తాం. మేం షోస్ అరెంజ్ చేస్తాం. నాకొస్తున్న పేరుని ఓ బ్యాచ్ త‌ట్టుకోలేదు. వెంట‌నే ఏదో స్టార్ట్ చేస్తారు. నేను నిజాయ‌తీగా ఉన్నాను. భ‌య‌ప‌డాల్సిన అవ‌స‌రం లేదు. 

బ‌ల‌గం సినిమాను ఆస్కార్‌కు క‌చ్చితంగా పంపించేలా చ‌ర్య‌లు తీసుకుంటాం. ఏదో బ‌డ్జెట్ పెట్టాల‌నే వార్త‌లు వచ్చాయి. నేను కూడా కార్తికేయ‌తో దాని గురించి మాట్లాడాను. నిజానికి యుఎస్‌లో స్ట్రీమింగ్ చేయ‌టానికి కొంత బ‌డ్జెట్ పెట్టాలి. అదే వాళ్లు పెట్టారు. ఇక ఆస్కార్ గెలుచుకున్న ఎలిఫెంట్ సినిమా విషయానికి వ‌స్తే వాళ్లేం బ‌డ్జెట్ పెట్ట‌లేదుగా’’ అన్నారు.

Actor Dev Mohan who is all set to hit the silver screens with Shaakunthalam on April 14th is already on a signing spree. Even before the release of his debut film, the actor’s upcoming film’s Muhurtham shot was done today. His next film is called Rainbow, along side Rashmika Manddana. 

Grapevine has it that, Dev has signed another film too in the meantime. The actor has surely impressed the industry and in on signing spree now. 

His debut movie Shaakuntalam is releasing on April 14th.
