 Teja’s Chitram Sequel Chitram 1.1 Commences From March

Director Teja delivered many blockbusters in his long career. But, his debut directorial Chitram will remain to be a special film from the director. The youthful entertainer was a sensational hit and it marked the debut of late actor Uday Kiran. RP Patnaik scored music for the film and songs became sensation then.

Teja celebrates his birthday today. On the occasion, he proclaimed to make sequel for Chitram titled Chitram 1.1 with all new faces. He will be introducing 45 new faces with the film tipped to be a musical youthful romantic comedy.

The blockbuster combination of Teja and RP Patnaik is back for Chitram 1.1 and this is going to be a musical hit again for sure. Sameer Reddy is the cinematographer while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor.

Teja’s Chitram Movies will produce the film in association with S Studios.

Chitram 1.1 regular shoot commences from March. Other details will be revealed soon.

 'Padma Shri' Brahmanandam, Rahul Vijay and Naresh Agastya-starrer launched by Ticket Factory & S Originals asProduction No. 1

Ticket Factory and S Originals have announced their Production No. 1 with 'Padma Shri' Brahmanandam, young actor Rahul Vijay and 'Mathu Vadalara' fame Naresh Agastya as the main actors. The project was formally launched today with a puja ceremony. Divya Sripada, Sri Vidya, Vikas, Uttej and Praanya P Rao are going to be seen in other roles in the entertainer. Produced by Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yarabolu, the film is written and directed by Harsha Pulipaka. Its regular shoot has begun.

Talking about the project, producer Srujan Yarabolu said, "Besides Brahmanandam garu, Rahul Vijay and Naresh Agastya, three other stars are going to do our movie. We will announce their names soon. The regular shoot has begun today in Hyderabad . It's a 13-day schedule during which the film will be shot in the city and nearby areas. We have planned upcoming schedules in Vizag and Puducherry. We are thrilled that Sandeep Raj, who shot to fame as a filmmaker with 'Colour Photo', is penning the dialogues. Also, Prashanth R Vihari, who has been continuously scoring hits, is the music director of our movie."

Debutant writer-director Harsha Pulipaka said, "Every living creature needs the five senses of touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. The story of our movie is woven around them. Our movie builds emotional moments around the basics of our existence. The story and screenplay are honest and reflect the thinking of today's youngsters. We are confident that our movie will be liked by all sections of audiences."

'Muddy' Releasing In 5 Languages

 India's First Mud Race Movie 'Muddy' Releasing In 5 Languages

Muddy is an innovative attempt and the recently revealed motion poster caught everyone's attention. The motion poster clocked 2 million views in no time and is trending across the circles of social media. Muddy is the first Indian movie on mud racing. Film lovers and the audience are now eagerly waiting for the release of the teaser that will be out on February 26th. Apart from some realistic racing action stunts, the film will also with all the commercial ingredients in the needed amounts.

The visuals from the motion poster look grand and realistic. Several real mud racing players worked for the movie and Muddy is shot in realistic locations. Muddy is directed by Dr. Pragabhal and it features Yuvan and Ridhaan Krishna in the lead roles. Prema Krishnadas bankrolled the film on PK7 Creations banner. The film is being made on a high budget will have a pan-Indian release in 5 languages Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. KGF fame Ravi Basrur is the music director and KG Ratheesh handled the cinematography work. Several renowned actors and technicians worked for this mud racing drama which is the first attempt of its kind on the Indian screen.

దర్శకుడు గోపీచంద్ మలినేని మాట్లాడుతూ...కరోనా తర్వాత ఇండస్ట్రీ ఫ్యూచర్ ఎలా ఉంటుందో అని భయపడుతున్న టైమ్ లో క్రాక్, ఉప్పెన, నాందితో ఆ భయాలన్ని పోయాయి. మా నరేష్ కు సక్సెస్ రావడం చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది. ఈవీవీ గారి దగ్గర అసోసియేట్ గా పనిచేశాను. నరేష్ బాగా తెలుసు. జెన్యూన్ యాక్టర్. నాంది నరేష్ కు కరెక్ట్  స్క్రిప్ట్. విజయ్ కు కంగ్రాట్స్ చెప్పాలి. ఫస్ట్ టైమ్ డైరెక్టర్ ఏదో కమర్షియల్ సినిమా చేయకుండా, కొత్త టైప్ ఆఫ్ సినిమా చేశాడు. నిర్మాత సతీష్ గట్స్ కు హాట్సాఫ్. వరలక్ష్మీకి ఇంకా మంచి ఆఫర్లు రావాలి. సినిమా యూనిట్ అందరిలో పాజిటవ్ వైబ్స్ కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. అన్నారు.

నిర్మాత సతీష్ మాట్లాడుతూ...మా టీమ్ ను కంగ్రాట్స్ చేసేందుకు వచ్చిన దర్శకులు, నిర్మాతలకు థాంక్స్. నాంది విడుదల పదిరోజుల ముందు నుంచే బాగా పబ్లిసిటీ చేశాం. 19న మరో రెండు పెద్ద సినిమాలు వచ్చాయి. అవి డబ్బింగ్ సినిమాలు. వాటితో టెన్షన్ పడ్డాం. నాంది మార్నింగ్, మ్యాట్నీ షోలు డల్ గానే ఉన్నాయి. టాక్ బాగుంది కలెక్షన్స్ లేవు అని ఎగ్జిబిటర్స్ చెప్పారు. నైట్ షోస్ కు హౌస్ ఫుల్ అని చెప్పడం చాలా సంతోషాన్నిచ్చింది. వైజాగ్, తిరుపతి, విజయవాడ ఇలా ప్రతి చోటు నుంచీ సూపర్బ్ రెస్పాన్స్ వచ్చింది. మేము చేసిన ప్రచారం, పబ్లిక్ మౌత్ టాక్ ద్వారా చాలా మందికి సినిమా గురించి తెలిసింది. అన్నారు.

హీరో నరేష్ మాట్లాడుతూ...2012 తర్వాత హిట్స్ పలకరించడం మానేశాయి. ఈసారి మనదే అని ప్రతీసారి అనుకుంటున్నాను. కానీ 2021 మాత్రం ఈసారి మనదే అయ్యింది. మహర్షి తర్వాత కంగారు పడి సినిమా చేయకూడదు కంటెంట్ తో చేద్దామని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నాను. విజయ్ వచ్చి కథ చెప్పినప్పుడు పోలీస్, లాయర్ ల గురించి అన్ని విషయాలు రీసెర్చ్ చేసి చేయాలని అతనికి చెప్పాను. మేము సినిమాలో చెప్పిన సెక్షన్స్ గురించి ఇటీవల ఓ పోలీస్ అధికారి సినిమా చూసి మెచ్చుకున్నారు. చాలా రీసెర్చ్ చేశారు కదా అని ఆయన అడిగారు. విజయ్ కు, రైటర్ లకు థ్యాంక్స్ చెబుతున్నాను. విజయ్ గారికి చాలా చెక్స్ వచ్చి ఉంటాయి అడ్వాన్స్ లుగా. విజయ్ తో ఒకాయన మాట్లాడుతూ..ఫ్లాప్ హీరోతో సినిమా చేస్తున్నావేంటని అడిగాడట. అప్పుడు విజయ్ కథలో కంటెంట్ ఉండాలి, హీరో టాలెంటెడ్ అయి ఉండాలి సక్సెస్ ఫెయిల్యూర్ తో పనిలేదు అన్నాడట. దేవి ప్రసాద్ గారి క్యారెక్టర్ చాలా బాగా చేశారు. ఆయన మంచి దర్శకుడు అని తెలుసు గానీ ఇంతమంచి నటుడు అని తెలియదు. ప్రతి క్యారెక్టర్ కు ఇంపార్టెన్స్ ఉంటది. ఆరు నిమిషాల ఒక షాట్ ఉంటుంది, నేను వరలక్ష్మి, ప్రియదర్శి ఆ సీన్ లో చేయాలి. అంత సేపు ఎమోషన్ క్యారీ చేయాలి. చేయగలమా అనుకున్నాం. కానీ సీన్ చేశాక సంతృప్తిగా అనిపించింది. సతీష్ నిర్మాతగా ధైర్యం చేశారు. కామెడీ ఇమేజ్ ఉన్న హీరోతో ప్రయోగాత్మక సినిమా ఏంటి అనుకోకుండా కొత్త తరహా సినిమా ప్రయత్నించారు. ఇకపైనా ఇలాంటి డిఫరెంట్ సినిమాలే చేయాలని కోరుతున్నా. నేను కూడా ఈ విజయాన్ని కొనసాగించేలా సినిమాలు ఎంచుకుంటాను. మరో రెండేల్లు ఇండస్ట్రీ కోలుకోదు అన్నారు. కానీ ప్రేక్షకులు మా భయాన్ని పోగొట్టారు. మంచి హిట్స్ ఇస్తున్నారు. అన్నారు.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is over the moon with the stupendous success of his last flick Krack which is ending as biggest hit of his career. Known for doing pucca commercial entertainers, Ravi Teja has signed to do a film with director Trinadha Rao Nakkina who is specialist in making hilarious family entertainers.

Sundeep Kishan’s 25th Film A1 Express Releasing On March 5th

 

Talented hero Sundeep Kishan’s milestone 25th film "A1 Express" is carrying positive buzz amoing film and trade circles. The new-age sports entertainer which is first Hockey-based film in Telugu cinema is the most ambitious project of the actor.

నందిత శ్వేతా ప్రధాన పాత్రలో నటించిన సినిమా ‘‘అక్షర’’. సినిమా హాల్ ఎంటర్ టైన్మెంట్స్ బ్యానర్ పై బి. చిన్ని కృష్ణ దర్శకత్వంలో సురేష్ వర్మ అల్లూరి,అహితేజ బెల్లంకొండ ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించారు. ‘‘అక్షర’’ సినిమా లిరికల్ సాంగ్ ను హీరో విశ్వక్ సేన్  విడుదల చేశారు.. ‘‘అక్షర’’. మూవీ ఫిబ్రవరి 26న రిలీజ్ కాబోతుంది.

ఈ సందర్భంగా  హీరో విశ్వక్ సేన్  మాట్లాడుతూ :

పాగల్ సినిమా సెట్ లో నిర్మాత అహితేజ పరిచయ మయ్యాడు.ఆయన తో మాట్లాడుతున్నపుడు సినిమా మీద ఫ్యాషన్ ఉన్న వ్యక్తి అనిపించింది. అందుకే ఈ సినిమా సాంగ్ లాంచ్ కి గెస్ట్ గా పిలవగానే వచ్చాను. సాంగ్ చాలా బాగుంది. చిన్న సినిమాలు లాక్ డౌన్ లో ఓటీటీ కి వెళ్లాయి. ఇంకొన్ని థియేటర్ రిలీజ్ కు వస్తున్నాయి. అలాంటి సినిమాలకు కాసుల వర్షం కురుస్తోంది. అక్షర సినిమాకు కూడా బాగా డబ్బులు రావాలి. అన్నారు.

దర్శకుడు చిన్ని కృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ.. విద్యా వ్యవస్థ లోపాలను చూపిస్తూ అక్షర సినిమా రూపొందించాం. ఈ సినిమాలో విశ్వక్ సేన్ ను ఒక కారెక్టర్ కు అనుకున్నాం అయితే ఆయన అప్పటికే హీరోగా లాంచ్ అయ్యారు. సో బాగోదని అనుకున్నాం. అక్షర ప్రేక్షకులకు మంచి అనుభూతి ఇస్తుంది. అన్నారు.

నిర్మాత అహితేజ బెల్లంకొండ మాట్లాడుతూ...చిన్న సినిమాగా అక్షర ను స్టార్ట్ చేశాం. మీడియా సపోర్ట్ తో పెద్ద సినిమాగా రిలీజ్ చేస్తున్నాం. ఒకే ఒక ఫోన్ చేయగానే విశ్వక్ సేన్ గారు మా కార్యక్రమానికి వచ్చారు ఆయన వైజాగ్ వెళ్ళాలి మాకోసం ఈక్కడికి వచ్చినందుకు థాంక్స్. అన్నారు.

 Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi Unveils Title Logo & First Look Poster of India's First 4x4 Mud Race Movie 'MUDDY'

'Muddy' is India's first off-road mud race movie, which offers the viewers a 4x4 innovative cinematic experience.

Debutant filmmaker Dr. Pragabhal is making his debut as Director with this innovative film.  Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the title Logo and First look poster of the film. Only a few knows about this mud racing. Dr Pragabhal has made extensive research to make this film. Music by Ravi Basrur, San Lokesh roped in for editing & cinematography by Hollywood fame K G Ratheesh.

 

In a time when newbie filmmakers are experimenting with unique, never-before-seen ideas in Indian cinema, Its not surprising when one hears about a filmmaker taking on 4x4 off-road racing through his debut film.

 MUDDY, India's first 4x4 mud race movie is in the final stages of production. Mud racing is a form of off-road motorsport, and movies based on the theme are rare in cinema so far. That makes Muddy in the news. 

The multi-lingual film is directed by newcomer Dr Pragabhal and bankrolled by Prema Krishnadas under the banner PK7 Creations. Muddy is conceived as an adventurous action thriller, which will offer an unparalleled cinematic experience for the viewers. The director has roped in fresh faces for the lead roles. Dr Pragabhal, the director, tells us Muddy was born out of his love for adventure and off road racing, although he hasn’t participated in the latter. He has maintained a close association with the sport for a long time. The film is the result of his five year research.

" Vijay Sethupathi Garu always stands first to encourage new genre films. I am very glad that the first look of our film is launched by him.

Its mainly about the rivalry between different teams, There’s a blend of revenge, family drama, humour, adventure….. everything." Says Pragabhal, who picked new-comers for the main roles, with real racers filling up as background players. “I trained the main actors in off-road racing, we didn’t use any dupes. I wanted guys who were adventurous and willing to invest the necessary time and energy for the film.” 

"The greatest challenge before me was introducing a sport like mud racing to the viewers without losing its thrill and punch," director Pragabhal said in a statement.

As the concept of mud racing is new to Indian cinema, the team did not find any references for making Muddy, this also made the production more complicated. Mud racing and stunts in the mud were filmed realistically. This will be a new experience to the viewers, he added. Pragabhal took five years of preparation to make Muddy. Those who are in the lead roles spent two years to get real time experience in mud racing. Pragabhal has taken more than one year to find the suitable locations for Muddy and it has included more interesting and unrevealed locations as well. Finding the location was a huge task of the pre-production thus ended up with several dangerous yet scenic locations which weren’t  framed in any of the movies. There are 3 different patterns of Mud race in the movie which was choreographed by the Director himself through his intense research for years. Also Pragabhal used costly modified vehicles in the Movie to get the real Mud Race ambiance. “Not just for a cinematography framing but for the people around the location to know about what a real off-road 4*4 Mud Race is, I’ve conducted a Mud Race event for 2 days” added Pragabhal. They did the adventurous stunts without any dupe or junior stunt artists. According to the team this makes MUDDY a comprehensive action thriller in mud racing genre. In addition to emphasizing mud racing, Muddy also gives the audience a great story experience. 

The film’s technical crew includes KGF fame Ravi Basrur for music, Ratsasan fame San Lokesh for editing, Colorist Ranga and Hollywood fame K G Ratheesh for cinematography.

Versatile actor Dr Mohan Babu who played numerous challenging roles in his long film career will be seen in a never-seen-before powerful role in his most ambitious project Son Of India for which he has also provided screenplay.

Mohan Babu is also known for his in-depth knowledge in various subjects and he continues to amaze with this rare quality.

Mohan Babu wanted to include Vedanta Desika’s Raghuveera Gadhyam in his film and thus requested composer maestro Ilayaraja to remix it.

The way Mohan Babu sang the song astonished Ilayaraja who doubted whether Mohan Babu will be singing the song. But, Mohan Babu said he won’t be singing the song.

Producer Vishnu Manchu shared a video of first discussion between Illayaraja and his father Mohan Babu along with director Ratna Babu.

“To produce a movie with legends is a God sent opportunity for me. And to make a iconic prose into a song, only a legend could do it. This is the first discussion between Mastero Sri. Illayaraja uncle and Father along with my director Ratna Babu. I wanted to share this video with you. And brining the song visually is another story altogether; that I will share soon,” posted Vishnu.

First look poster of the film that presented Dr Mohan Babu in an intense avatar received overwhelming response.

The storyline and genre of the film are first of its kind in Tollywood. It’s the joint production venture of Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and 24 Frames Factory.

Vishnu Manchu’s wife and Mohan Babu’s daughter-in-law Viranica Manchu turns stylist with the film and she will be presenting Mohan Babu in a completely new avatar.

Maestro Ilayaraja scores music for the film, while Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer.

The film has dialogues by Diamond Ratnababu and Thotapalli Sainath. Suddala Ashoka Teja pens lyrics, while Gautham Raju is the editor and Chinna is the art director.

దేవి నాన్నగారు దేవినేని పైన నా దగ్గర కథ ఉంది అది చేద్దామని నాకు చెప్పడంతో నేను ఏదైతే చేయాలని కలగంటున్నా నో ఆ స్కిట్టు నా దగ్గరికి రావడం చాలా సంతోషం అనిపించింది ఇందులో ఒక ఫ్రెండ్స్ దేవినేని నెహ్రూ వంగవీటి రంగా వీరిద్దరూ ఎంత అన్యోన్యంగా ఉండే వారిలో లాస్ట్ కి అంత భయంకరంగా విడిపోయే వచ్చింది దాన్ని ప్రజలకు

చలసాని వెంకటరత్నం పాత్రలో  నటించిన తుమ్మల ప్రసన్న కుమార్ మాట్లాడుతూ..శివ నాగు గారు దర్శకుడు నన్ను కలిసి చలసాని వెంకటరత్నం క్యారెక్టర్లో  ప్రేమంటే మొదటిగా నేను జస్ట్ ఊహించలేదు 1980లో నన్ను హీరోగా చేయమని భారత రాజా గారు,ఆ తర్వాత సత్య రెడ్డి గారు మూడు సినిమాలుకాంట్రాక్ట్ చేసి ఒక్కొక్క సినిమాకు 5 లక్షలుగా15 లక్షలు ఇస్తానని ఆఫర్ చేసినా నేను వారి ఆఫర్ ను సున్నితంగా వద్దని చెప్పడం జరిగింది.సినిమాలో రంగు వేసుకుని నటించే ఇష్టం లేక నటిస్తే ఆ బజన్ కలెక్టర్ నాకు కాకుండా ఉండకుండా పోతుందనే భయంతో నేను నో చెప్పడం జరిగింది ఇప్పుడు దేవినేని కి వద్దని చెప్పినా నటించే ఇష్టంలేక వద్దని చెప్పిన దర్శకుడు మీరు దగ్గు వేసుకోకుండా యాడ్ చేయమని చెప్పడం తో ఇందులో నటించడం జరిగింది కలుస్తాను వెంకటరత్నం గారంటే కులాలకు జాతులకు మతాలకు అతీతంగా కమ్యూనిజంలో పెద్ద తరహా లో ఉంటూ చిన్న పెద్ద తేడా లేకుండా అందరి సమస్యలు పరిష్కరించే పెద్దమనిషి చలసాని వెంకటరత్నం గారు అలాంటి మహనీయుని పాత్ర చేయడం చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది విజయవాడలో బెజవాడ కు సంబంధించిన ఎన్నో సినిమాలు వచ్చినా అన్నిటిలోనూ గ్యాంగ్ వార్ చూపిస్తూ దేవినేని ఇరు కుటుంబాలకు ఇరు కుటుంబాలు భద్ర భద్ర శత్రువుల ఒకరినొకరు చంపుకునే విధంగా వివరించారు కానీ కానీ ఇందులో వీరి కుటుంబాలకు మంచి అవినాభావ సంబంధం ఉందని తెలియజేస్తూ వంగవీటి రంగా ఒక అమ్మాయిని పెళ్లి చేయి ఒక అమ్మాయిని ప్రేమిస్తే దేవినేని గారు వాళ్ళిద్దరికీ పెళ్లి చేయడం జరిగింది ఇలా మధ్య వున్న అవినాభావ సంబం ధాలను తెలియజేస్తూ తర్వాత వారి మధ్య ఇలాంటి మనస్పర్థలు వచ్చి ఎలా విడిపోయారు అనే విధంగా ఎవరూ ఇప్పటి వరకు ఎవరూ చేయని కొత్త కోణంలో చిత్రాన్ని నిర్వహించడం జరిగింది జరిగింది రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ గారు ఎన్నో బయటకు తీసి ఎన్నో కేసులు ఎదుర్కొన్నారు అయినా సుప్రీంకోర్టు తల క్లారిటీగా చెప్పడం జరిగింది ఒకసారి సెన్సార్ అయిపోతే దాన్ని ఎవరు ఆపడానికి లేదని రాజ్యాంగంలో కూడా ప్రతి మనిషికి భావప్రకటన స్వేచ్ఛ ఉందని తెలియజేసింది అయిన వారిని పట్టించుకోకుండా ఈ సినిమాలో ఏమి ఏమి నే తెలియకుండా అందరిపై కేసులు వేయడం వారి విజ్ఞతకే వదిలేస్తున్నాం ఈ సినిమాను వారిని ప్రజలు అలా ఎందుకు ప్రజలు కూడా ఈ సినిమా చూసిన ప్రజలు ఈ సినిమాకు మంచి తీర్పు ఇస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్నాను అని అన్నారు

నిర్మాత డి.యస్ రావు మాట్లాడుతూ..బయోపిక్ సినిమాలు తీయడం అంటే నిప్పుతో చెలగాటం ఆడినట్లే, ఇలాంటి మూవీలు చేసి ఎన్ని అడ్డంకులు వచ్చినా ఎదుర్కొనే గట్స్ ఉండాలి.  అలా తీసే దర్శకుల్లో రాంగోపాల్ వర్మ మొదటి వరసలో ఉంటారు.ఇప్పుడు ఆయన శిష్యుడు శివ నాగేశ్వర రావు (శివ నాగు) రాము గారి బాటలో పయనిస్తూ "దేవినేని" సినిమాతో మన ముందుకు వస్తున్నందుకు చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది.మంచి కంటెంట్ ఉంటే అవసరం లేదని ఈ మధ్య సినిమాలు నిరూపించాయి.అలాంటి సినిమాల కోవలో ఈ "దేవినేని" ఉండాలని మనస్పూర్తిగా కోరుకుంటూ ఈ చిత్రంలో నటించిన నటీనటులకు చిత్ర దర్శక నిర్మాతలు ఈ సినిమా మంచి పేరు తీసుకు రావాలని మనస్ఫూర్తిగా కోరుకుంటున్నానని అన్నారు.

'చెక్' కమర్షియల్ సినిమా... ప్రేక్షకులను డిజప్పాయింట్ చేయదు - దర్శకుడు చంద్రశేఖర్ యేలేటి

'ఐతే', 'అనుకోకుండా ఒక రోజు', 'ఒక్కడున్నాడు', 'ప్రయాణం', 'సాహసం', 'మనమంతా'... తెలుగు చిత్ర పరిశ్రమతో పాటు ప్రేక్షకులు గర్వించే సినిమాలు అందించిన దర్శకుడు చంద్రశేఖర్ యేలేటి. ఆయన దర్శకత్వం వహించిన తాజా సినిమా 'చెక్'. యూత్‌ స్టార్‌ నితిన్‌ హీరోగా భవ్య క్రియేషన్స్‌ పతాకంపై ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత వి. అనంద ప్రసాద్‌ నిర్మించారు. ఈ సినిమాలో రకుల్‌ ప్రీత్‌ సింగ్‌, ప్రియా ప్రకాశ్‌ వారియర్‌ హీరోయిన్లు. కల్యాణీ మాలిక్‌ సంగీతం అందించారు. ఈ నెల 26న సినిమా విడుదల కానుంది. ఈ సందర్భంగా చంద్రశేఖర్ యేలేటితో ఇంటర్వ్యూ... 

'చెక్' ఐడియా ఎప్పుడు వచ్చింది?

- ఎవరికీ లేని గొప్ప టాలెంట్ ఉన్న మనిషి... తన కోసం అన్వేషణ జరుగుతుంటే? ఎక్కడ ఉంటే? అని ఓ ఐడియా ఎప్పటి నుంచో ఉంది. ఓ పది పదిహేను ఏళ్లుగా నాలో ఉంది. అది రకరకాలుగా మారి 'చెక్'లా తయారైంది. అంటే... ఐడియా లెవల్ లో ఉన్నది ఫైనల్ ప్రోడక్ట్ వచ్చేటప్పటికి ఉండదు. కథపై చాలా రీసెర్చ్ చేశా. 

చదరంగం నేపథ్యంలో ఇంతకు ముందు ఓ సినిమా వచ్చింది. చూశారా?

- చూడలేదు. సినిమా జరిగేటప్పుడు నేను చూడను. తర్వాత చూస్తాను.

మీ సినిమా అంటే స్క్రీన్-ప్లే హైలైట్ ఉంటుంది. ఈ సినిమాలో...

- 'చెక్'లోనూ స్క్రీన్-ప్లే అందరికీ నచ్చుతుంది. ముఖ్యంగా హ్యూమన్ డ్రామా. సినిమాలో హీరో ఒక ఉరిశిక్ష పడ్డ ఖైదీ,  బాగా తెలివైన వ్యక్తి. రోడ్లు మీద తిరగడు. క్రెడిట్ కార్డ్స్, ఫ్రాడ్స్ చేస్తూ ఉంటాడు. అతని తెలివితేటలను మీరు ఎలా వాడుకుంటారు? అనుకోకుండా ఒక పెద్ద ప్రమాదంలో జైలులో పడితే ఉరిశిక్ష పడిపోతుంది. ఇప్పుడు నాలుగు గోడల మధ్య ఇరుక్కుపోయాడు. అతను ఫ్రీగా ఉన్నప్పుడు తెలివితేటలు తప్పుడు దారికి ఉపయోగపడింది. జైలులో ఎవరో పరిచయం అవ్వడంతో అతని బుర్ర సరైన దారిలో పడింది.

కథలో చదరంగం ఆటకు ఎంత ప్రాముఖ్యం ఉంది?

- చాలా ఉంది. కథలో చెస్ గేమ్ చాలా ఇంపార్టెంట్ ఫ్యాక్టర్. ఉరిశిక్ష పడ్డ ఖైదీకి లాస్ట్ అప్షన్, క్షమాభిక్ష కోసం రాష్ట్రపతికి పిటిషన్ పెట్టుకోవడం. రాష్ట్రపతి దగ్గర చాలా పిటిషన్లు ఉంటాయి. అప్పటి పరిస్థితుల బట్టి ఒకరిద్దరికి క్షమాభిక్ష ఇస్తారు. ఆ యాంగిల్ ఒకటి తీసుకున్నాం. హీరో చెస్ బాగా ఆడతాడు. వరుసపెట్టి విజయాలు సాధిస్తుంటే అతడిపై సానుభూతి కలగవచ్చు. రాష్ట్రపతి దగ్గర అభిప్రాయం మారవచ్చు. ఆట, క్షమాభిక్ష... ఈ రెండు అంశాల నేపథ్యంలో సన్నివేశాలు ఉంటాయి.

సినిమాలో ఎక్కువశాతం జైలు నేపథ్యంలో ఉంటుందట. దానిని ఎలా డీల్ చేశారు?

- అవును. 70 శాతం సినిమా జైలులో సాగుతుంది. అంత కంటే తగ్గేది? కరోనా వల్ల బయటకు వెళ్లలేక జైలు సీక్వెన్సులు కొంచెం పెంచాల్సి వచ్చింది.

సాధారణంగా చేతికి ఉంగరాలు పెట్టుకుంటారు. మీ హీరో చేతికి టాటూలు ఉన్నాయేంటి?

- జైలుకి రావడానికి ముందు అతని లైఫ్ స్టైల్ ఎలా ఉండేదో చెప్పడానికి ఆ టాటూలు డిజైన్ చేశాం. 

హీరోగా నితిన్ ని ఎంచుకోవాడానికి కారణం ఏంటి?

- ఎంచుకోవడం కాదు... నితిన్ తో సినిమా చేయాలని అనుకున్నాం. అప్పుడు రెండుమూడు కథలు అనుకున్నాం. దీనికి ముందు ఇంకో కథపై వర్కవుట్ చేశాం. ఫైనల్ గా ఈ కథ బావుంటుందని అనుకుని 'చెక్' చేశాం. 

నితిన్ ని మైండ్ లో పెట్టుకుని కథ రాశారా? కథ ప్రిపేర్ అయ్యాక నితిన్ ని కలిశారా?

- ప్రిపేర్ అయ్యాక కలిశా. అయితే, అప్పటికే నితిన్ తో చేయాలని ఉంది. నితిన్ కి బాగా సూట్ అవుతుందని అనిపించింది.

మీ సినిమాల్లో స్క్రీన్-ప్లే ఎడ్జ్ ఆఫ్ ది సీట్ లెవల్ ఉంటాయి. బ్యాక్-గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ చాలా ఇంపార్టెంట్. కల్యాణీ మాలిక్ గారిని తీసుకోవడానికి కారణం? 'ఐతే' తర్వాత గ్యాప్ కూడా వచ్చింది.

 - ఎప్పటి నుంచో మేమిద్దరం చేయాలని అనుకుంటున్నాం. మధ్య మధ్యలో కలిశాం. పరిస్థితుల వల్ల కుదరలేదు. ఇన్ని రోజుల తర్వాత కుదిరింది. అదృష్టం అనుకోవాలి. తన నేపథ్య సంగీతంతో సినిమాను మరో స్థాయికి తీసుకువెళ్లాడు. 

ప్రచార చిత్రాల్లో రకుల్ ప్రీత్ సింగ్ ను న్యాయవాదిగా చూపించారు. ఆ అమ్మాయి రోల్ ఏంటి?

- అమ్మాయిది న్యాయవాది పాత్రే. కాకపోతే... బేసిగ్గా భయస్తురాలు. భయస్తురాలు నుంచి ధైర్యవంతురాలిగా మారుతుంది. క్యారెక్టర్ ట్రాన్స్‌ఫర్మేషన్ ఉంటుంది. అటువంటి అమ్మాయి తీవ్రవాది ముద్రపడిన ఓ వ్యక్తి కేసు డీల్ చేయాల్సి వస్తుంది. ఆమెది మంచి రోల్.

ప్రియా ప్రకాశ్ వారియర్ రోల్ ఏంటి?

- ఫ్లాష్‌బ్యాక్‌లో వస్తుంది. ఆ అమ్మాయిదీ చాలా ఇంపార్టెంట్ రోల్. నితిన్ లవ్ ఇంట్రెస్ట్. ఆమె ఎంటర్ అయిన దగ్గర్నుంచి మొత్తం కథ టర్న్ తీసుకుంటుంది.

మురళీశర్మ, సంపత్ రాజ్, సాయి చంద్ పాత్రల గురించి?

- జైలు సూపర్ సూపరింటెండెంట్ పాత్రలో నితిన్ కి మద్దతుగా మురళీ శర్మగారు నటించారు. ఆయన తర్వాత సూపరింటెండెంట్ గా సంపత్ రాజ్ వస్తారు. ఆయనది విలన్ పాత్ర. సాయి చంద్ గారు అయితే సినిమాకి బ్యాక్ బోన్. చెస్ నేర్చుకోవాలి, ఆడాలి అని జైలులో హీరోను ప్రేరేపించిన వ్యక్తి సాయి చంద్ గారు. ఎప్పుడో ఆవేశంలో చేసిన తప్పు వలన జైలుకు వెళ్తారు. అక్కడ ఒక్కరే చెస్ ఆడుకుంటూ ఉంటారు. హీరో జైలుకు వెళ్లిన తర్వాత ఇద్దరికి పరిచయం ఏర్పడుతుంది. హీరో చెస్ నేర్చుకుంటాడు. 

నిర్మాత ఆనందప్రసాద్ గారి గురించి?

- చాలా మంచి నిర్మాత. ఆయన 100 శాతం మనపై నమ్మకం ఉంచుతారు. మొదట కథ వింటారు. కథ నచ్చితే... నాకు తెలిసి మళ్ళీ ఫైనల్ కాపీ చూస్తారు. దర్శకుడిపై అంత నమ్మకం పెడతారు. ఆయనతో చిన్న సమస్య కూడా ఉండదు. వెరీ గుడ్ ప్రొడ్యూసర్. ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ ప్రొడ్యూసర్ అన్నే రవిగారు వెనుక ఉండి నడిపిస్తుంటారు.

సినిమాలో ఖైదీ యూనిఫామ్ కొత్తగా ఉంది. ఎక్కడి జైలు...?

- మా సినిమాలో జైలు, ఆ యూనిఫామ్ పూర్తిగా కల్పితం. గద్వాల్ జైలు అని పెట్టాం. దానికి కారణం ఏంటంటే... చిత్రీకరణ ప్రారంభించడానికి ముందు ఓ ఏడాది పాటు అన్ని జైళ్లకు వెళ్లి అక్కడి పరిస్థితులు తెలుసుకోవాలని ప్రయత్నించాం. హై సెక్యూరిటీ జోన్ పరిధిలోకి వస్తాయి కనుక చూడటానికి అనుమతులు ఇవ్వడం లేదు. జైలులో విధానాలపై మేం అడిగిన ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానాలు రాలేదు. అంటే... తీవ్రవాదులను ఎలా తీసుకువెళతారు? ఎలా పెడతారు? వంటి విషయాలు చెప్పడానికి ఓపెన్ గా లేరు. కాన్ఫిడెన్షియల్ మేటర్ కాబట్టి అర్థం చేసుకోగలను. అందుకని, ఓ జైలును కల్పించాం. ఫరీద్ కోట్ నుండి విశాఖ వరకు ఐదారు జైళ్లకు వెళ్ళా. సాధారణ ఖైదీలను చూపిస్తున్నారు. అక్కడ నుంచి ముందుకు వెళ్లడం లేదు. పేర్లు అప్రస్తుతం గానీ... కొంతమంది ఖైదీలను ఎక్కడ పెట్టారు? ఎటువంటి భోజనం ఇస్తున్నారు? అని ప్రశ్నిస్తే సమాధానాలు రాలేదు.  

మీ సినిమాలు ఎక్కువగా నిజానికి దగ్గరగా ఉంటాయి. ఎటువంటి ఇన్సిడెంట్లు తీసుకుని చేస్తారు?

- ఇవాళ ఉదయం పేపర్లో ఒక ఆర్టికల్ చదివి ఉండొచ్చు. అది మనసులో ముద్రపడి రెండు సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత మారిపోయి వేరే ఐడియాగా రావచ్చు. ఫర్ ఎగ్జాంపుల్... 'ఐతే' సినిమాకి అమెరికా ప్రభుత్వ ప్రకటన ఒకటి స్ఫూర్తి. ఒసామా బిన్ లాడెన్ మీద 100 మిలియన్ డాలర్ ప్రైజ్ మనీ ఏదో పెట్టారు. అక్కడ నుంచి ఐడియా ట్రిగ్గర్ అయింది. శూన్యం నుంచి ఎవరికీ ఐడియాలు రావు. కొత్తగా ఏదీ సృష్టించలేం. సృష్టించాల్సింది అంతా భగవంతుడు ఎప్పుడో సృష్టించాడు. ఐడియా ఎవరు ట్రిగ్గర్ చేస్తారనేది చెప్పలేం. ఎక్కువగా రియల్ లైఫ్ ఇన్సిడెంట్స్ నుంచి స్ఫూర్తి పొందుతా. ఫిక్షన్ తీసుకోను.

ప్రేక్షకుల ఆలోచనల కంటే మీరు అడ్వాన్స్డ్ అయ్యుంటారా?

- అలాగని చాలామంది అంటారు. నా సినిమాలు విడుదలైన రెండు మూడేళ్ల తర్వాత ఎక్కువ అప్రిసియేషన్ వస్తుంది. 'సినిమాలో అది బావుంది' అని చెప్తారు. అడ్వాన్స్డ్ అవ్వడం కూడా తప్పే. కాలం కంటే ముందు, వెనుక ప్రయాణించకూడదు. కాలంతో పాటు ప్రయాణించాలి.

మీరు స్ట్రయిట్ కమర్షియల్ ఎంటర్టైనర్ ఎందుకు చేయరు?

- 'చెక్' చేశాను కదా. ఇది కొత్త పాయింటే. అయినా... యాక్షన్ సహా అన్ని కమర్షియల్ ఎలిమెంట్స్ ఉంటాయి. ఎడ్జ్ ఆఫ్ ది సీట్ ఎమోషనల్ థ్రిల్లర్ కనుక ఎక్కువ పాటలు అవసరం లేదని అనుకున్నాం. పాటలు తప్ప మిగతా కమర్షియల్ ఎలిమెంట్స్ అన్నీ ఉంటాయి. చూసిన వాళ్లు అందరూ బాగా వచ్చిందని అంటున్నారు. సినిమా పెద్ద హిట్ అవుతుందని ఆశిస్తున్నాను.  

ఫైనల్ కాపీ చూశాక... మీకు ఏం అనిపించింది?

- ఈ సినిమా అనే కాదు, ఏ సినిమాకైనా రాసుకున్నది 60 శాతం తెరపైకి తీసుకు రాగలిగితే హ్యుజ్ సక్సెస్. 'చెక్' విషయంలో 70 శాతానికి పైగా తీసుకొచ్చానని అనుకుంటున్నాను. 

'చెక్' సినిమా యుఎస్‌పి ఏంటి?

- ఒక్కటి అని చెప్పలేను. ఎందుకంటే... నటీనటుల ప్రతిభ గానీ, సంగీతం గానీ, కళా దర్శకత్వం గానీ, ఇంకొకటి గానీ, ప్రతి డిపార్ట్మెంట్ లో ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ బాగా చేశారు. యాక్షన్ పార్ట్... ఫైట్ మాస్టర్ రవి వర్మ అద్భుతంగా చేశాడని సినిమా చూసినవాళ్లు చెప్తున్నారు. కల్యాణీ మాలిక్ నేపథ్యం సంగీతం... మేం 50 శాతం చేస్తే, మిగతా 50 శాతం కల్యాణీ మాలిక్ చేశాడు. మా కెమరామెన్ రాహుల్ శ్రీవాత్సవ్  అద్భుతమైన విజువల్స్ ఇచ్చారు .వివేక్ ఆర్ట్ డైరెక్షన్, నరేష్ అని కొత్త రైటర్ రాసిన డైలాగులు, ముఖ్యంగా ఆనంద ప్రసాద్ గారి నిర్మాణ విలువలు... సినిమా చూసిన ప్రేక్షకులకు ఈ డిపార్ట్మెంట్ వాళ్ళు బాగా చేయలేదని అనిపించదు. అంత బాగా ఉంటుంది. 

ప్రేక్షకులకు 'చెక్' గురించి ఏం చెప్తారు?

- నేను తీసిన మిగిలిన సినిమాలు ఏమైనా డిజప్పాయింట్ చేసి ఉండచ్చు. ఈ సినిమా డిజప్పాయింట్ చేయదు. ఫిబ్రవరి 26న ప్రేక్షకులు అందరూ థియేటర్లకు వచ్చి సినిమా చూడాలని కోరుతున్నా. అన్ని వర్గాల ప్రేక్షకులకు సినిమా నచ్చుతుంది. ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్నా.

నెక్స్ట్ సినిమా?

- ఈ సినిమాకి ముందే రెండు సినిమాలు లైనప్ లో ఉన్నాయి. మైత్రీ మూవీ మేకర్స్ సంస్థలో ఒకటి, వేరే సినిమా ఇంకొకటి చేయాలి.
