After Recce, he wanted to create an emotionally strong yet gripping thriller. He thanked ZEE5 for supporting the vision and said the series balances emotion and suspense effectively.

Udaya Bhanu expressed her excitement about the release and said she strongly connected with her character. She mentioned that playing a police officer was a long-time wish and that the role allowed her to show both strength and emotional depth, especially as a mother.

Producer K.V. Sriram stated that the series will deeply connect with families, particularly fathers. He praised Rajeev’s performance, saying he saw only the character on screen and not the actor. He also added that every episode carries high intensity and feels like a mini-climax.

ZEE5 Telugu Senior Vice President Jayanth Raghavan said the series is a valuable addition to their Telugu originals and highlighted the rare emotional focus on a father’s perspective. He also appreciated the cinematography by Mahesh and the dialogues by Shruti for strengthening the narrative.

Cinematographer Mahesh shared that the project was completed quickly with full dedication and said the visuals enhance both the emotional and suspense elements. Dialogue writer Shruti described the story as emotionally powerful and said she felt deeply connected to the characters while writing.

Actress Vasanthika said the early response to the first two episodes has been positive and credited the director for shaping her performance. Gayatri Bhargavi mentioned that though her role is brief, it is impactful and part of a strong emotional thriller.

During the Q&A, Rajeev Kanakala said he became emotional because the story personally connected with him as a father. Krishna Poluru explained that the casting was purely based on what the story demanded and that the strong episode endings were a result of team effort. He also admitted that creating this series after Recce was a challenging process that took nearly two years of planning.

Mm.....Udaya Bhanu said she enjoys playing strong characters and feels empowered portraying such roles. Vasanthika shared that the story is highly relatable, especially for daughters who see their father as their first hero, and said working with Rajeev Kanakala was a great learning experience.

The makers concluded that D/O Prasad Rao Kanabadutaledhu is an emotional father-daughter story blended with suspense, promising a touching and engaging experience for audiences when it premieres on ZEE5 on February 27.
