‘Patang’ Is a Beautiful Film Everyone Should Watch: Producer SKN
The film Patang, presented by noted producer D. Suresh Babu, has been receiving a warm response from audiences. Produced by Rishan Cinemas and Monsoon Tales, the sports drama is backed by producers Vijay Shekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, Suresh Kothinti, and Nani Bandreddy, and is directed by Praneeth Pattipati.
Popular filmmaker and actor Gautham Vasudev Menon and renowned singer-actor SP Charan appear in important roles. Released as a Christmas special, Patang has connected well with young audiences and is being appreciated as a youthful entertainer. The film’s success meet was held in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Cult producer SKN and actor Sundeep Kishan attended the event to encourage the team.
Speaking at the meet, SKN said,
I watched Patang and felt it is one of the most beautiful films made in recent times. The emotions are very genuine. It is clear that the film was made with love and passion, not just money. Every scene reflects the dedication of the team. That is why, despite my busy schedule, I came here to encourage them. The media should support and promote such honest films. The kite-flying competition scenes reminded me of Sankranti and were beautifully shot. This film will not waste the audience’s time and will surely entertain everyone. Soon, I plan to book a screen in a multiplex and arrange a free show for my friends and social media followers because good cinema deserves encouragement.”
Actor Sundeep Kishan said,
I have been closely following Patang. All the promotional content impressed me. Whenever I like a good film, I voluntarily support its promotions. I really liked the trailer, and the sincerity of the effort is visible. With strong word-of-mouth, the film will reach more theatres soon. Among Christmas releases, Patang feels sweet and special. I will be giving away 500 tickets and request everyone to watch the film in theatres.
The producers requested audiences to support content-driven cinema and thanked several industry personalities for encouraging the film after watching it.
Associate producer Ramya shared that the film has received very positive reviews and said the kite-flying sequences have emotionally connected with audiences. She also announced that Patang will release overseas on January 1.
Director Praneeth Pattipati said the response has been encouraging, though the film is facing limited theatre availability. He assured audiences that they would not be disappointed if they watch the film in nearby theatres.
Producer Pranav said,
We are happy that people are appreciating our effort. Small films need strong audience support. Patang is a rare film based on kite competitions, made with great quality and passion. It offers a strong theatrical experience.
Several members of the cast and crew, including Vijay Shekhar, Sampath, Nani Bandreddy, Suresh, Vamsi Poojith, Preethi Pagadala, and Praneeth Pattipati, were present at the event.
