Dhandoraa Teaser Impresses with Its Emotional Take on Life and Death

“Dhandoraa” Teaser Impresses with Its Emotional Take on Life and Death

After delivering the National Award-winning Colour Photo and the blockbuster Bedurulanka 2012, producer Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments is back with his new film Dhandoraa. The movie features a strong ensemble cast including Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Ravikrishna, Manika Chikkala, Mounika Reddy, Bindu Madhavi, Radhya, and Aditi Bhavaraju.

The teaser, released on Monday, offers a mix of humor, emotion, and social commentary. It opens with a light romantic moment, then quickly introduces Navdeep as a stylish sarpanch and Shivaji with a striking dialogue:

“Go to Hyderabad… go to America… go anywhere. But when you die, you must return here.”

Navdeep adds to the fun with a sarcastic line in a rural setup, while Nandu is shown in a tense family moment. Bindu Madhavi appears as a sex worker, confidently stating, “They’re paying money… I’m giving a service. What’s wrong in that?”

The tone soon shifts to an emotional high when a young boy questions why his grandmother’s body is being taken far away. Shivaji replies,

“Don’t think you know the world just because you’ve read a few books… there’s a world you haven’t seen.”

This moment hints that Dhandoraa deals with the hardships, emotions, and realities a person experiences between birth and death. The film also appears to touch on sensitive social issues, including caste-related atrocities, especially in rural Telangana.

With its mix of tradition, satire, humor, and heartfelt moments, the teaser promises a powerful story and raises expectations for the film, which hits screens on December 25, 2025.

The film’s songs are being released through T-Series, while Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures handles the overseas release.
