JOCKEY Motion Poster Out: Director Pragabhal Brings Madurai Goat Fights to Big Screen

From the makers of Muddy comes yet another daring cinematic adventure Motion Poster of JOCKEY Unveiled!

After breaking new ground with Muddy, India’s first mud-racing film, director Dr. Pragabhal is back with another bold experiment JOCKEY. The motion poster, launched today, teases audiences with a theme never before explored in Indian cinema the traditional Madurai Goat Fight.

Packed with raw intensity, the first glimpse highlights a gripping faceoff where goats take center stage, symbolizing both tradition and emotion. Unlike a regular action drama, JOCKEY dives deep into the powerful bond between goats and their handlers, offering a cinematic tribute to Tamil Nadu’s rich heritage.

Sharing his vision, director Dr. Pragabhal said:

When I first experienced goat fights in Madurai, I saw more than a contest of strength I saw culture, emotion, and authenticity. That inspired me to live in Madurai, research extensively, and craft this story with honesty. Our actors worked closely with goat handlers, taking risks and forging genuine bonds. JOCKEY is my attempt to showcase this tradition with truth and cinematic grandeur.”

The film features Yuvan Krishna and Ridhan Krishnas in the lead, alongside Ammu Abhirami and Madhu Sudhan Rao in pivotal roles. To ensure realism, the cast trained for months under the guidance of experienced goat handlers, embracing the risks and rigor of this unique backdrop.

JOCKEY boasts a strong technical crew, including:
