Director Dr. VN Aditya’s Multilingual Global Thriller “Phani” Set for June Release
Acclaimed director Dr. VN Aditya is gearing up to unveil his ambitious global thriller Phani, a multilingual cinematic spectacle that is slated for a worldwide release in late June. The film is being produced under the OMG Productions banner and is presented by AU & I Studios.
Phani is being made in five languagesEnglish, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalamunderscoring its global appeal. Dr. Meenakshi Anipindi, an accomplished music composer and founder of Meenakshi Suswara Academy in the U.S., marks her debut as a film producer with Phani. She also serves as the music director, infusing the film with a rich musical backdrop that promises to be one of its standout elements.
At the heart of Phani lies a mysterious and symbolic presencea black snake (Black Pine)which plays a central role in the narrative. The film stars Catherine Tresa, Mahesh Sriram, and Neha Krishna in key roles, supported by veteran actors Tanikella Bharani and Kashi Vishwanath. The ensemble cast includes a mix of established and emerging talent, contributing to the film’s diverse and dynamic storytelling.
In celebration of Dr. Meenakshi Anipindi’s birthday, the team shared their best wishes and also dropped a major announcement: the much-anticipated Phani will hit global screens at the end of June.
Dr. Meenakshi, through her music academy, has long been dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian musical traditions across the globe. With Phani, she brings her artistic vision to the silver screen, creating a fusion of compelling storytelling, evocative music, and stunning visuals.
