For more than four decades, BA Raju played a vital role in Telugu cinema through multiple avenues. Starting his journey as a PRO for legendary actor Krishna, he later emerged as one of the most respected film journalists and media personalities in the industry. Through successful publications like Super Hit Weekly and Crazy World, he became a trusted voice for film lovers and the media fraternity alike.

Beyond journalism, BA Raju also made his mark as a producer under banners like Friends and RJ Cinemas. Along with his wife, director-producer B. Jaya, he delivered memorable films including Premalo Pavani Kalyan, Chantigadu, Lovely, and Vaisakham. Their work reflected a genuine understanding of audience emotions and storytelling.

Known for his humility, discipline, and deep knowledge of cinema, BA Raju shared warm relationships with several stars, filmmakers, and technicians across the industry. His close association with Mahesh Babu and the Krishna family showcased the affection and respect he earned over the years.

As a mentor to many young journalists and as the president of the Film Critics Association, BA Raju guided countless media professionals with wisdom and encouragement. His passion for cinema was not limited to work  it was a lifelong devotion that touched many lives.
