Is your full name Anshu Ambani?
"Ambani is a very popular surname. However, that's not my family name. I don't even know how I got the name Ambani. It's also listed on my Wikipedia page, and I don’t know how to change it. It would be nice if someone like you could help. (laughs) My name is Anshu. I have a family name, but I have never used it. I married Sachin Sagar, so now I’m Anshu Sagar. But I feel happy when someone calls me simply and sweetly, Anshu."
What is the reason for not appearing on screen for a few years?
"I entered the industry at just 15. I didn’t have much emotional maturity back then. If I had done Manmadhudu at the age of 25, I might have thought about continuing in films. By then, I had not completed my education. I went to London, finished college, and did my master’s. I became a psychologist and opened my own clinic. I got married at 24 and have two children. It's been a beautiful journey."
"I wanted to act in films again. The response to the rerelease of Manmadhudu gave me a lot of confidence. With my family's support, it feels wonderful to return to the screen with this film. I see it as a great opportunity. Now, many filmmakers are reaching out to me for different character roles. There are many mother roles available, but I don’t want to play only one type of character. I believe that after the release of this film, directors and producers will approach me for more diverse roles."
