Story
Parvathalu (VK Naresh) is a father whose outlook on marriage is deeply influenced by the difficulties faced by his elder daughter after marrying Balaraju (Tharun Bhascker), a man whose drinking habits and irresponsible lifestyle create constant problems. Worried that his younger daughter Keerthi (Anupama Parameswaran) might face a similar situation, Parvathalu becomes determined to find her a financially stable groom with a respectable background and good habits.
Keerthi, however, has different priorities. She dreams of completing her education, finding a job, and building an independent life. She is also deeply in love with her childhood friend Uday (Akhil Raj). Despite their affection for each other, Uday’s lack of financial stability makes him unacceptable to Parvathalu, who believes that financial security is essential for a successful marriage.
Without giving sufficient importance to his daughter’s wishes, Parvathalu proceeds with a marriage alliance that he considers suitable. This puts Keerthi in a challenging situation, forcing her to confront her father’s decisions and fight for the future she wants. As the conflict unfolds, the film examines the emotional gap between a parent’s protective instincts and a daughter’s desire to make her own choices. The central question is whether financial security alone can guarantee happiness or whether understanding, love, and individual freedom are equally important in a marriage.
