Chartbuster "Naanaa Hyraanaa" from Game Changer to Be Added from January 14
Global Star Ram Charan's much-awaited pan-India film, Game Changer, directed by Shankar, has hit theaters worldwide today. This political action-drama has opened to massive box office numbers and is expected to break Day 1 records at several centers.
The film boasts a chart-topping album composed by musical maestro S. Thaman. Among the standout tracks is the soothing melody "Naanaa Hyraanaa," a fan favorite that unfortunately could not be included in the initial theatrical prints due to technical challenges during the processing of infrared visuals.
The team has been working tirelessly to address the issue, and the song will be re-added to the film starting January 14.
"Naanaa Hyraanaa" is a serene romantic melody sung by Karthik and Shreya Ghoshal, with lyrics penned by "Saraswatiputra" Ramajogayya Sastry. Its Tamil version, "Lyraanaa," features lyrics by Vivek, while the Hindi rendition, "Jaana Hairaan Sa," was written by Kausar Munir.
This track is India’s first song shot entirely using an infrared camera, creating a surreal and dreamy visual aesthetic. Cinematographer Thiru brought Shankar's grand vision to life with mesmerizing frames.
The song, filmed in the breathtaking locales of New Zealand, features Ram Charan and Kiara Advani alongside a 100-member dance troupe flown in from Russia. Shot over five days, the lavishly produced track has been a chartbuster, amassing over 60 million views across all languages on YouTube and topping music platforms worldwide.
Audiences can experience this visual spectacle on the big screen from January 14.
Game Changer stars an ensemble cast, including Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Jayaram, Sunil, and Naveen Chandra. The film is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateshwara Creations, Dil Raju Productions, and Zee Studios, with SVC Adityaram Movies bankrolling the Tamil version. The Hindi version is distributed by AA Films, headed by Anil Thadani.
