Following its successful theatrical run, the hard-hitting Malayalam psychological thriller Aasha is set for its digital premiere on Malayalam ZEE5 on October 16, 2026. Viewers across India can also stream the film in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
Starring veteran actress Urvashi in a compelling lead role, Aasha features an ensemble cast including Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vijayaraghavan, and Lakshmi Menon. The film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith.
Aasha (Urvashi) is a widowed mother fiercely devoted to protecting her daughters. A routine day turns chaotic after a minor road incident spirals into a bitter confrontation with Jeemon (Joju George).
What begins as an ordinary dispute quickly triggers an uncontrollable chain of events. Driven by pride, fear, and protective instincts, everyday choices morph into life-altering dilemmas blurring the lines between right and wrong.
Rather than sticking to predictable revenge-thriller tropes, Aasha examines the butterfly effect: how one seemingly trivial moment can unravel lives and force an ordinary woman to make unthinkable choices.
