Lingaa story Revolves around Lingeshwara Dam which is located at singanoor village .How that Dam was constructed ? who wants to damage it ? what is the reason behind this plan ? how lingaa protected dam from danger is the main story of this film

Rajinikanth's performance is good as usual but he has not shown his trade mark styles ,which might disappoint his fans big time.
Galmour dolls Sonakshi and Anushka have given their best bounding the limitations of their roles.
Santhanam and co. makes us laugh but equally irk us at times with some unnecessary dialogues.
Jagapathi babu was not used to his strengths and ,K.Vishwananth as the elder of the village has done the justice to his character.
Technical Aspects:
Director K.S.Ravi kumar tried his best to entertain the audience but his narration went haywire due to the lack of clarity in his screen play. The excess footage of the movie would make the audience bored to death ,both in first and second half of the film.
Production values of Rockline Entertainments deserves a pat on their back to make sure the quality is never compromised by any craft of the entire crew.
Editing could have been much better. A good 15 minutes of footage can be chopped off in the second half to make sure the screen play is in tact.
A.R Rahaman's BGM is good in bits and pieces. And the music tracks of the film are so pale with horrible lyrics in Telugu.
Last but not the least, Cinematography of the film is a top notch.
Verdict
Lingaa Movie first half is good .Second half is Slow over all one time watch film .
