సినీ గేయ రచయిత వెన్నెలకంటి బుధవారం రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో గాయపడ్డారు. నెల్లూరు జిల్లా గుమ్మడిపూడి వద్ద ఆయన ప్రయాణిస్తున్న కారును లారీ ఢీకొనటంతో ఈ ప్రమాదం జరిగింది. వెన్నెలకంటితో పాటు ఆయన సతీమణి ఈ ప్రమాదంలో గాయపడ్డారు. వారిని చికిత్స నిమిత్తం చెన్నైలోని ఓ ప్రయివేట్ ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు.
