Yami Gautam’s ‘Nayyi Navelli’ Set for October 16 Release
Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow have announced their upcoming fantasy family entertainer Nayyi Navelli, starring Yami Gautam Dhar. The film is scheduled to hit theatres across India on October 16, 2026, making it a perfect Dussehra release.
Directed by Balaji Mohan, the film is produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma. Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma have penned the story, while G. V. Prakash Kumar is composing the music.
Set against the backdrop of a lively Meerut family, the story revolves around a beautiful bride who seems to bring happiness and prosperity to the household. However, her brother-in-law begins to suspect that she may actually be a daayan (witch). What follows is a mix of fantasy, comedy, family drama and unexpected twists.
The makers promise a fun-filled theatrical experience packed with humour, chaos, adventure and festive entertainment. With Yami Gautam leading a talented ensemble cast, Nayyi Navelli is expected to be a family-friendly big-screen entertainer.
