Niharika Konidela Offers Bangaru Bonam at Mahankali Temple in Hyderabad
Actress and producer Niharika Konidela visited the Sri Mahankaleshwara Temple at Mir Alam Mandi in Hyderabad’s Old City and offered a traditional Bangaru Bonam to Goddess Mahankali as part of the ongoing Bonalu celebrations.
Niharika received a warm welcome from the temple priests with a Purna Kumbham. She offered special prayers and sought the blessings of the Goddess amid Vedic chants. Later, the temple authorities felicitated her.
Temple Chairman Gajula Anjaiah explained the history of the temple and shared details about the Bonalu traditions and celebrations conducted at the temple.
Speaking to the media, Niharika said she could not attend the temple on the main Bonalu day because of her shooting schedule. She decided to visit the temple later and seek the blessings of Goddess Mahankali.
Niharika recalled that she had always loved seeing women in traditional attire carrying Bonams during Bonalu celebrations in Hyderabad.
She described her darshan as peaceful and spiritually fulfilling and said she felt deeply blessed by the experience. She also expressed her wish to visit the temple again and seek the Goddess’s blessings.
Niharika’s visit attracted many devotees, who gathered at the temple to meet her and take photographs and selfies, adding to the festive atmosphere.
