Jagamae Sangeetham to Premiere on Prime Video on September 4
Prime Video has announced September 4 as the worldwide premiere date for its upcoming Telugu musical drama series Jagamae Sangeetham.
Created and directed by Palnati Surya Pratap and produced by Sushmita Konidela, the series stars Prakash Raj, Meka Srikanth, Madhubala, Akshay Lagusani, and Sushmita Shetty in key roles.
Set in the world of Carnatic music, the story follows Balu, who carries the legacy of his grandfather Shastri. As family conflicts, old rivalries and hidden secrets come to the surface, Balu struggles to balance tradition with his desire to find his own identity.
Music plays a major role in the series, with Vishal Chandrasekar composing the score. The story blends traditional Carnatic music with a contemporary sound while exploring family, emotions, legacy and self-discovery.
Written by Vangala Surya Manoj, Shravani Samudrala, and A.R. Prabhav, the series features a strong ensemble cast including Suman, Sijju Menon, Shafi, Jhansi, Raghu Babu, Rocket Raghava, Nagi Jabardasth, Mirchi Kiran and others.
Jagamae Sangeetham will stream exclusively on Prime Video from September 4 in Telugu with English subtitles, along with a Tamil dub, across India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
