The upcoming political entertainer ‘Dharmasthala Niyojakavargam’ is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on September 4. The film features Suman, Sai Kumar, Kasturi, Nataraj, Rayamcha Kokkura, Varun Sandesh and Vithika Sheru in key roles.
Produced by Merum Bhaskar under the Moving Dreams India Private Limited banner, the film is written and directed by Jai Gnana Prabha Thota.
A grand pre-release event was held in Hyderabad, with star director V. V. Vinayak attending as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, V. V. Vinayak said that he first heard about the film through lyricist Chandrabose, who spoke highly about the story and director Jai Gnana Prabha.
He appreciated Chandrabose for writing all five songs for the film without taking any remuneration after being impressed by the story. Vinayak said the film carries a strong idea and expressed hope that it would become a major success for the entire team.
He also recalled his association with Chandrabose, who wrote a song for his debut film Aadi, and wished that ‘Dharmasthala Niyojakavargam’ would bring similar success to its director and team.
Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose said the film gave him great satisfaction as a lyricist. He revealed that after Rangasthalam, this was one of the films where he felt especially happy while writing the songs.
He praised director Jai Gnana Prabha for creating situations that allowed him to write meaningful lyrics. He expressed confidence in all five songs, composed by Mahaveer Elender, including Nyayam Cheyara Deva, Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah, Arambham, Koduko Koduko and Kaalam.
Chandrabose said the film explores the battle between the good and negative sides that exist within every person and appreciated the director for presenting the theme effectively.
Director Jai Gnana Prabha Thota thanked producer Bhaskar for standing by the project from the beginning.
He said the entire cast and technical team gave him strong support throughout the making of the film. He particularly appreciated the artistes for their commitment and punctuality during the shoot.
The director revealed that the film is a fictional story inspired by a real-life incident and combines entertainment, music and a strong social message.
He appealed to audiences to watch the film in theatres from September 4.
Producer Merum Bhaskar said the film will release through PVR and INOX on September 4.
He praised director Jai Gnana Prabha for completing the film exactly according to his vision without extending the shooting schedule. Having previously worked on several big films as a manager, Bhaskar said he was pleased to work with a director who had such clarity about his project.
He expressed confidence that the film would connect with audiences from different sections.
Actor Sai Kumar said he was happy to see Nataraj making his debut as a hero with this film. He praised director Gnana Prabha for giving him a strong and enjoyable role.
He said the movie combines entertainment with a message aimed particularly at today’s youth.
Actress Kasturi said Telugu audiences have remembered her through films such as Annamayya and the television serial Gruhalakshmi.
She revealed that director Jai Gnana Prabha surprised her by offering a negative role, which she found interesting. She appreciated the director for choosing a socially relevant story for his debut and thanked producer Bhaskar for supporting the project.
Making his debut as a hero, Nataraj said he was extremely happy to be part of a film with a meaningful story.
He thanked director Jai Gnana Prabha and producer Bhaskar for their constant support and appreciated Chandrabose and Mahaveer for their contribution to the film.
Describing the movie as a story made for ordinary people, Nataraj said, “This is a film made for the common man, with the story of a common man and created by common people.”
Actress Vithika Sheru said ‘Dharmasthala Niyojakavargam’ is very special to her as it marks her return to films after a long gap.
She appreciated the team for making a film inspired by real events while delivering a meaningful message. Vithika said the director's work does not feel like that of a debutant and expressed hope that the film would become a big success.
Music director Mahaveer Elender said he found the story unique when the director first narrated it to him.
He explained that every song has an important role in the story and praised Chandrabose for his lyrics. He said he gave his best to the project and expressed confidence that the songs and film would connect with audiences.
