Avengers: Doomsday Promo Puts Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in the Spotlight
Marvel Studios has unveiled a new special promo for Avengers: Doomsday, giving fans their first major look at Robert Downey Jr. as the iconic Marvel villain, Victor von Doom.
The special footage was revealed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, along with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell.
The promo puts Doctor Doom at the centre of the story and hints at how his journey as the MCU’s next major villain begins. It also teases a massive confrontation between Doom and Thor, while Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm appears to play an important role in setting up the new threat.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Doomsday brings together a huge lineup of Marvel stars, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Pedro Pascal, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Tom Hiddleston, Channing Tatum, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and many others.
The film will bring heroes from three different universes together as they face a dangerous threat unlike anything they have encountered before.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to release in cinemas across India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on December 18, 2026.
