The Committee Kurrollu team came together to celebrate a proud milestone after the film won two prestigious National Film Awards. The event, hosted by Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Radha Damodar Studios, turned into an emotional reunion as the cast, crew, and makers shared their memorable journey behind one of Telugu cinema's biggest success stories.
Directed by Yadhu Vamsee and produced by Niharika Konidela, Committee Kurrollu has continued its successful run even after its theatrical release. After earning praise from audiences, critics, and film festivals, the film has now added two National Awards to its impressive list of achievements.
The celebration was attended by producer Niharika Konidela, director Yadhu Vamsee, producer Phani Adapaka, Manyam Ramesh, writers, technicians, actors, and members of the media. Almost everyone shared how the film changed their lives and careers.
Producer Phani Adapaka expressed his happiness, saying the National Award belongs to every artist and technician who worked on the film. He praised the team's dedication and thanked Niharika for trusting him throughout the journey. He also appreciated director Yadhu Vamsee's conviction and storytelling.
Writers Kondal Rao and Subhash shared that Committee Kurrollu was their first step into cinema. They thanked Yadhu Vamsee for believing in them and expressed gratitude to Niharika and Phani for supporting the project when others hesitated.

Actor Prasad Behara said Committee Kurrollu became a turning point in his career. He praised director Yadhu Vamsee's conviction and Pink Elephant Pictures for believing in the film, adding that the project opened the doors to nearly 16 films for him. He thanked Vamsee, Niharika Konidela, and the entire team for the life-changing opportunity.
Actors Rishika, Tejaswini, Sandeep Saroj, Shyam Kalyan, Trinadh Varma, Akshay Srinivas, Shiva Kumar Matta, Manikanta Parasu, Raghuvaran, Eshwar Rachiraju, and Kancharapalem Kishore emotionally recalled how Committee Kurrollu transformed their lives. Many said the film gave them recognition, confidence, and a strong foundation for their careers.
Lyricist Nagarjuna thanked Yadhu Vamsee for giving him his first opportunity in films, while Manyam Ramesh spoke about the close bond the entire team still shares even years after the film's completion.

Listening to everyone's journey gives me immense satisfaction. I experienced a feeling I had never known before when I decided to make Committee Kurrollu. Once I heard the story, it became my film, and I wanted to give it everything I had. If this is the happiness that comes from making a good film, I will never leave the film industry.
She said that although winning a National Award was initially director Yadhu Vamsee's dream, it gradually became her dream as well. She credited the entire team for their dedication and said every member deserved the recognition.
Niharika also revealed that the National Award was on her vision board and thanked the jury for honouring the film. Reflecting on her family's legacy, she shared that her father had won National Awards for Rudra Veena decades ago, and receiving the same honour today gave her a sense of earning her own place in cinema.
She concluded by saying that her only goal is to support meaningful cinema through Pink Elephant Pictures and expressed gratitude to everyone who stood by Committee Kurrollu throughout its remarkable journey.
