Adithya Menon Brings Skeletor to Life in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam Versions of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is gearing up for its grand theatrical release in India on June 5, 2026. Along with the English version, the film will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, giving audiences across the country a chance to enjoy the epic fantasy adventure in their preferred language.
While veteran actor Jaaved Jaaferi voices the villain Skeletor in Hindi, popular actor Adithya Menon has taken on the challenge of voicing the iconic antagonist in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
Speaking about the experience, Adithya Menon said dubbing for Skeletor brought back fond memories from his childhood. Having grown up watching He-Man, he described Skeletor as one of the most memorable villains ever created — a character who entertained and fascinated audiences across generations.
The actor shared that Skeletor’s unique personality made the role especially enjoyable. According to him, the villain is powerful and intimidating, yet also carries a playful and dramatic side. This combination allowed him to explore different emotions and styles while recording the dialogues.
Adithya revealed that he approached each language version differently, adapting the character’s tone and delivery to suit Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam audiences. He said this creative process made the experience even more rewarding.
He also praised Jared Leto, who portrays Skeletor in the original English version, saying the actor had already set a strong foundation for the character. While staying true to Skeletor’s core personality, Adithya added his own touch to make the regional versions feel authentic and engaging.
Expressing his excitement, Adithya said he hopes audiences enjoy the unique flavour he has brought to each version and that voicing Skeletor has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of his career.

The film will be released in theatres across India on June 5, 2026, in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
