 Samantha Unveils “Idi Prema” Song from Harshith Reddy’s “Deewana”

The romantic track “Idi Prema” from the upcoming film Deewana, starring Harshith Reddy, was officially released by star heroine Samantha on social media. Following the launch, a grand event was held at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad, with directors Venky Atluri, Ravikiran Kola, and Nandini Reddy gracing the occasion as chief guests.

After the success of Subham, Harshith Reddy returns with Deewana, a feel-good love story directed by Srikanth Sangishetty. The film also introduces Smeha Manimegalai as the female lead to Telugu audiences. It is produced by Vasudev Koppineni and Sridevi Karyampudi under the banners of Arha Media and V Studios, and is gearing up for a summer theatrical release.

Speaking at the event, choreographer Krishna expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating that all songs in the film will turn into chartbusters. Music director Eshwar Chand, making his debut, shared that the team gave him complete creative freedom, allowing him to compose music as well as write lyrics. He described Deewana as a collaborative effort that will connect with audiences emotionally.

Producer Sridevi Karyampudi thanked Nandini Reddy, Allu Aravind, and Vidya for their support and encouragement. She expressed confidence in the film, praising the performances of Harshith and Smeha, and highlighting Eshwar Chand’s music as a major strength.

Producer Vasudev Koppineni revealed that the story instantly gave him confidence to begin production. He described Deewana as a story that reflects the emotions of every Telugu youngster and said the film will offer a memorable theatrical experience.

Director Srikanth Sangishetty shared that the story had been with him for a long time and required courage to bring to life. He believes the film will leave a lasting impression, comparing its emotional depth to classics like Tholi Prema and 7G Brindavan Colony. According to him, the story follows the journey of a middle-class boy named Munna, with a deeply moving climax.

Director Nandini Reddy praised the sincerity and passion visible in every frame of the film, calling it a heartfelt effort. She expressed confidence that the film would resonate strongly with audiences.

Debut heroine Smeha Manimegalai said playing Ammu in Deewana is a dream come true and expressed hope that audiences will connect with the story. Hero Harshith Reddy shared that the film holds special importance in his life and believes it will be a turning point in his career. He also noted the coincidence of sharing the title Deewana with Shah Rukh Khan’s debut film, which gave him added confidence.

Venky Atluri appreciated the film’s content and performances, while Ravikiran Kola emphasized that cinema continues to thrive through fresh talent and new stories, expressing hope that Deewana will bring back the celebratory theatre experience.

With a promising team and strong emotional core, Deewana is set to arrive as a heart-touching love story this summer.
