‘Padhe Padhe’ – A Soft Romantic Melody from “Rākāsā”
The team behind Rākāsā has released the film’s second single, “Padhe Padhe,” a soothing romantic track that beautifully captures the quiet emotions of love. The song is sung by Sindhuja Srinivasan, composed by Anudeep Dev, and written by lyricist Kittu Vissapragada. Presented as a lyrical video featuring Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika, the song gives audiences a gentle glimpse into the growing bond between the lead characters.
Musically, “Padhe Padhe” stands out for its elegant blend of classical and modern sounds. Composer Anudeep Dev brings in the delicate tones of the veena, adding a classical touch to the composition while maintaining a smooth contemporary melody. The song flows softly, allowing the emotions of the lyrics to shine. Through his words, Kittu Vissapragada portrays the subtle feelings of someone who expresses love through small gestures rather than direct confession. Sindhuja Srinivasan’s warm and expressive vocals further enhance the emotional depth of the song, making it feel intimate and heartfelt.
The film stars Sangeeth Sobhan, who gained strong popularity among youth with films like MAD and MAD Square, alongside Nayan Sarika. Rākāsā promises a mix of romance, humour, and fantasy. The cast also includes Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Getup Srinu. The film is written and directed by Manasa Sharma, known for creating and writing Oka Chinna Family Story and directing Bench Life.
On the technical side, the film features cinematography by Raju Edurolu and editing by Anwar Ali, while the music is composed by Anudeep Dev. The project is produced by Niharika Konidela under the banner Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Zee Studios, with Umesh Kumar Bansal backing the production.
The promotional content for the film has already received strong digital response. The title glimpse has crossed 1.9 million views, while the teaser has gone past 2.8 million views. The first single “Rapappa” also performed well, crossing 1.1 million views on YouTube. With the release of “Padhe Padhe,” the makers have now revealed the softer romantic side of the film’s music.
Rākāsā is also gearing up for a wide overseas release across 350+ international screens through Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures, covering major territories such as the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia. Prathyangira Cinemas will handle distribution in North America, while the film’s music is being released under the Saregama label.
With its promotional content steadily gaining attention, Rākāsā is building strong anticipation ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026.
