Hey Balwant to Stream on ZEE5 from March 31

ZEE5, known for bringing diverse and engaging content, is all set to premiere another entertaining film titled “Hey Balwant.” This successful comedy-drama will start streaming from March 31 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Directed by Gopi Acharya, who also co-wrote the film, Hey Balwant stars Suhas and Shivani Nagaram in lead roles, with V.K. Naresh playing a key character. The movie is produced by B. Narendra Reddy under Trishool Visionary Studios.

Set against the backdrop of Guntur, the story revolves around Krishna (Suhas), a young man who dreams of continuing his father’s business. However, he is shocked when he discovers the true nature of that business. At the same time, he is in love with Mithra (Shivani Nagaram), who runs an NGO.

As Krishna struggles between love, moral values, and the truth about his father Balwant’s business, the film unfolds with hilarious moments, emotional depth, and a strong father-son bond. The story ultimately explores the choices he makes and the consequences that follow.

Speaking about the film, Suhas said that he really liked the story as it deals with aspirations, family, and moral dilemmas that people often ignore. He added that the movie blends comedy with heartfelt emotions and feels honest in its storytelling. He expressed happiness that the film is reaching a wider audience through ZEE5.

V.K. Naresh shared that the film beautifully portrays the relationship between a father and son. He mentioned that playing Balwant was challenging and helped him explore a different side as an actor. He also expressed his joy about the film’s release on ZEE5, which supports meaningful Telugu content.
