All distributors are happy with the film’s response, says producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi
Released on February 13 as a Valentine’s Day special, Funky is receiving a positive response from audiences of all age groups and filling theatres with laughter. With the film getting encouraging feedback from the very first show, the team recently held a success press meet to thank the audience for their support.
Funky brings together Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen and director K.V. Anudeep, who is known for his entertaining comedy films. The film is presented by Srikara Studios and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music, and Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead.
As the first collaboration between Vishwak Sen and Anudeep, the film created strong buzz before its release. After hitting theatres, the film has been entertaining audiences with its light-hearted comedy and emotional moments, making it a complete entertainer. The team expressed their happiness over the positive talk and thanked viewers for their love.
Vishwak Sen said that he felt unusually calm before the release of Funky and was delighted to watch the film with the audience at Sriramulu Theatre. He shared that the film was made as a breezy entertainer that families can enjoy together and that the audience’s laughter and appreciation brought him great relief and happiness.
Kayadu Lohar said that watching the film with the audience and seeing them laugh at every scene was a joyful experience. She thanked everyone for showing so much love towards the film.
Director K.V. Anudeep said that the main aim was to make a clean family entertainer filled with comedy, romance, and emotions. He expressed happiness that the audience is enjoying the film as intended.
Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi said that the team always believed Funky would provide two hours of comfortable laughter and that the audience response has proved their confidence right. He added that distributors are also happy with the film and especially appreciated the comedy and emotional mother sentiment in the second half.
