“Nuvvu Naaku Nachav” Returns to Theatres in 4K on January 1, 2026
A timeless classic that continues to live in the hearts of Telugu audiences, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav is set for a grand worldwide re-release in stunning 4K on January 1, 2026.
Released on September 6, 2001, the film became an instant favourite and remains one of the most loved family entertainers in Telugu cinema. Even after repeated viewings over the years, its humour, warmth and emotions never feel outdated. With its unmatched repeat value, the film is ready to welcome the New Year by spreading laughter once again on the big screen.
At the time of its original release, the film did not receive a full overseas run. To bridge that gap, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav will now be released worldwide, allowing audiences everywhere to relive its magic in theatres.
Producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore recalls being confident about the film from the start. The movie presented Victory Venkatesh in a refreshing and memorable role, marking a new phase in his career. After the success of Nuvve Kavali, director Vijay Bhaskar and writer Trivikram worked with great passion, delivering dialogues that remain iconic even today. Koti’s evergreen music, paired with lyrics by Sirivennela and Bhuvana Chandra, continues to resonate across generations.
Though Aarti Agarwal is no longer with us, her performance remains unforgettable. The supporting cast, including Prakash Raj, Suhasini, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Chandra Mohan and MS Narayana, brought characters that are still fondly remembered.
Speaking about the re-release, producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore said,
“Nuvvu Naaku Nachav is a milestone in Telugu cinema. This 4K re-release is more than a revivalit’s an opportunity to begin the New Year with laughter and joy along with family. After being enjoyed across different platforms for nearly 25 years, the film deserves to be experienced once again in theatres. The film was shot over 87 days, and every moment of that journey is still vivid in my memory.”
This January 1, 2026, get ready to relive the laughter, emotions and charm of Nuvvu Naaku Nachav on the big screen once again.
