From a 10-Minute Short Film to a ₹10-Crore Feature Film: AVAA International Short Film Contest Season 1 Launched
On the happy occasion of Sankranti and Pongal, AVAA Entertainments has officially announced the launch of AVAA International Short Film Contest – Season 1. The team extends warm wishes to everyone for a Very Happy Sankranti and Pongal.
This contest is a special platform created to find and support new filmmaking talent across India, with a strong focus on directors and their storytelling skills.
Aspiring filmmakers can participate by submitting a short film of up to 10 minutes, which will be judged purely on storytelling and direction.
The biggest highlight of the contest is its grand prize the winning director will get a chance to direct a ₹10-crore feature film, produced by actor and film producer Mr. Vishnu Manchu. Known for encouraging fresh talent, Vishnu Manchu aims to give deserving new directors a real opportunity to enter mainstream cinema.
